EMBOO RIVER CAMP – MASAAI MARA NATIONAL PARK
Emboo River Camp is a mid -range accommodation (3 star camp) found along the river bend of Talek in the south of Kenya with in the famous Masaai Mara national park. The camp is situated in the center of the park and in the perfect spot of wide range of wildlife roaming around the camp since it’s not fenced. You can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center to Masaai mara national park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close Ol-kiombo airstrip then 20 minutes to be transferred to the lodge. The camp is convenient and business friendly to guests who want to explore the park with its beautiful views of the river and surrounding areas.
Emboo River Camp masaai mara consists of over 10 comfortable stylish en suite safari tents all with the view of Talek River. The camp offers king twin, doubles, individual beds (single) and family rooming options. Each tent reflects traditional building style with natural materials and comfort proximity. Each tent is well elevated with raised platform decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, inside hot and cold showers, dressing tables, mosquito nets, Deck chair, Wooden Tables, Free bottled water in the rooms and many others. Each tent has sitting areas, verandas and private balconies with vanity deck that give great views over the pool, Mara Plain, wildlife species and surrounding areas. There are cracking fireplaces at the camp where guests relax and share more experience about the Kenya safaris not only that it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. They cost 200$ per night and above, during high season rate is always high than in low season rated
Emboo River Mara camp offers more services and facilities which include; A restaurant that serves different cuisines both international ( vegetarians and non- vegetarians) and Kenyan cuisine to meets guests choice ; buffet breakfast , picnic lunch and dining areas that serves both in and outdoor diners . Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .
The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
