Enkusero Mara Camp
Enkusero Mara Camp is a permanent boutique mid- range accommodation found in Aitong right on the border of Masaai Mara national park and The Mara North Conservancy in Kenya Region. The camp is situated 5minutes away from Musiara Gate and the Name of the camp “Enku “comes from its Marshy land surrounding the areas. The marsh is the source of water that has served both masaai tribes and wildlife especially during the dry season herds of elephants and buffaloes congregate at the marsh making it game viewing areas. The camp is convenient and in an ideal base for tourists, travellers and holiday makers who want to explore the park with the beautiful views of the savannah and surrounding areas. It takes approximately 4-5 hour drive from Nairobi city Via Narok Town to Masaai Mara National Park and 45 minutes flight from Nairobi to the closest Musiara airstrip then 5 minutes to be transferred to the camp.
Enkusero Mara camp is comprised of 3 comfortable and beautiful suites that can accommodate maximum of 6- 7 people raised on a wooden deck in the wild landscape configured with single for individuals , double or twin beds and designed for family/group reflecting Kenyan local designed style with local woods and high level of comfort.
Rooms are well elevated , decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, bathrooms with hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, free toiletries, complementary bottled water, wooden chairs and tables, white duvets and pillows to mention but a few. Rooms have veranda and large sitting areas overlooking the spectacular views of over the Mara savannah Plains, and surrounding area. Tents are equipped with comfortable clean bedding containing king and queen sized beds. There is a campfire pit where guests relax and share stories/ experience about the safari da that provides warmth to guests.
Enkusero Mara camp offers more services and facilities which include;
A restaurant in the main Tent with the view of the savannah plain serving different cuisines both international and African- inspired meals that meets guest’s choice. Meals offered include; Continental breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner in the main building served by well trained, friendly and welcoming staff, you can have meals in any place of your choice either veranda overlooking the park or in the dining areas. Bush breakfasts are also offered while enjoying morning sunrises and bush dinners while overlooking the stars in the sky and savannah plains.
A-well stocked bar with variety of refreshment both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, you relax on balcony while sipping the sundowner that winds up your evening overlooking the spectacular view of the Mara plain and surrounding areas

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya ,Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors .
Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July ,August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
