Hotel Lion Sands Maasai Mara Lodge is a 3 star mid-range accommodation found close to Sekenani Gate and oloolaimutiek gate just 2 miles in Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Park The lodge lies on 10 acres of natural vegetation. It takes approximately a 4-5 hour drive from Nairobi city to Maasai Mara National Park an hour flight from Nairobi to the closest airstrip and a few minutes to be transferred to the camp.  The lodge is convenient and business friendly to Travellers, and tourists who want to discover and explore Maasai Mara National Park with its stunning view over the rolling plains, wildlife and surrounding areas.

Hotel Lion Sands Maasai Mara Lodge is comprised of over 3 comfortable and spacious en-suite tents allows overlook the wilderness elevated on a raised platform and built-in African traditional style with comfort. Rooms are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, bathrooms with hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, free toiletries, complimentary bottled water, wooden chairs and tables and many More. Cottages have terraces and large sitting areas overlooking the spectacular views of the wilderness and surrounding area.  The cottage is equipped with comfortable clean bedding containing queen sized beds.  There is a campfire pit where guests relax and share stories/experiences about the safari da that provides warmth to visitors staying. The camp features standard, superior, luxury, deluxe and cottage  with single beds for individuals, double/twin for a couple or two people, and family options with different costs ranging from 200$ per night  and above ( note that high season rate is different to low season rate.)

Bush breakfasts are also offered while enjoying morning sunrises and bush dinners while overlooking the stars in the sky.

 Maasai Mara National Park is among the largest and most visited parks in Kenya situated  270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying a total area of 1,510 km squared. There are over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Maasai are an initial and local group of semi-nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National Park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals including lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos, and 600 species of birds and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverses its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti National Park during July, August and October. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers.
