The lodge is a luxury accommodation ‘’5 stars’’ located in the rural area close to Ololoolo gate in Masai Mara National Park Kenya. It sits 1000ft above the vast savannah of the Masai mara overlooking the open mara triangle. Mara Engai is set in the great migration route which offers guests a better spotting place for different animals. The lodge can be accessed by road which is approximately 4-to-5-hour drive from Nairobi to the park and it’s only 50 minutes to fly from Nairobi to the closest serena airstrip. This lodge consist of 20 well designed and pointed luxury tents that reflects traditional building style with woods and modern comfort.
Tents are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities such as flushing toilets, hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, satellites, Flat screen TVs, Extinguishers, Hair driers, Private balconies, viewing deck overlooking the great mara plains.
Moreso, tents are equipped with comfortable clean bedding containing king and Queen beds with ceiling fans. They offer campfire at the lodge that provides warmth to guests staying in cold days.

Generally, Masai Mara National Park is located 270kilometers north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 square kilometers. There are many tribes in Kenya over one million Masai people- the Masai people are initial and local group of semi -Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzania border.
The park is home to over a million animal that include lion, cheetahs, elephants, zebra and hippos and over 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Some of bird list to see includes; Southern ground hornbill, Giant Kingfisher, Schalow’s turaco, Rufous-bellied heron, Saddle-billed stork, Abdim’s stork, Jackson’s widowbird, Grey penduline tit, Denham’s bustard, African wood owl, African finfoot, Rufous -throated wryneck, Yellow-throated sandgrouse, Secretary bird, Tabora Sparrow, Silverbird, Woolly -necked stork, White-bellied go -away bird, Swahili sparrow, Temminck’s courser, Usambiro barbet among others.
