Mara Silalei Camp
Mara Silalei Camp is a newly budget accommodation found next to Kenya’s famous Maasai Mara National Park. The camp is close to Leleshwa Conservancy and Naibosha Conservancy. You can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately a 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center to Maasai Mara National Park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close airstrip then a few minutes’ drive to be transferred to the camp. The camp is convenient for safari adventure to tourists and travelers who want to explore the park with its beautiful view of the Mara Plains, wildlife, and surrounding areas.
Mara Silalei camp consists of over 5 spacious and comfortable tents and cottages (Offers both tents and cottages) suites overlooking the surrounding areas reflecting traditional building styles. Each tent is well elevated, decorated, and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, safari-style hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, Televisions, Air conditioning, Deck chairs, work Decks, Wooden Tables, Free bottled water in the tents and many others. Each tent has sitting areas, Private verandas and a vanity deck that gives a better view of wildlife roaming around the camp and surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with comfortable clean beddings containing queen-sized beds. There is a fireplace at the camp where guests relax and share stories about safaris; it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. The camp offers tents suitable for families as well as individuals with single beds, double beds, twin for sharing, and triple beds.

Maasai Mara National Park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya known for its incredible density and variety of animals. it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying a total area of 1,510 km squared. There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Maasai are an initial and local group of semi-nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National Park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals including lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti National Park during July, August and October. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
