MARA TOTO CAMP –MASAAI MARA NATIONAL PARK
Mara Toto camp is referred to as a luxury small accommodation found on the banks of Ntiakitiak River where thick forests meets the savannah close to the sister camp (Mara Plain camp) in Kenya’s Masaai Mara national park. The camp is basically known for its leopard residents wandering on the River banks and famous for the great annual migration from Serengeti and the green migration. The camp is set on 70,000 acres of the private landscape .The camp is convenient and in an ideal base for tourists, travellers who want to explore the park with the beautiful views of the savannah and surrounding areas. It takes approximately 4-5 hour drive from Nairobi city to Masaai Mara National Park and an hour flight from Nairobi to the closest Ol-kiombo airstrip and 45 minutes to be transferred to the camp to thrill while on Kenya Safaris.
Mara Toto camp is comprised of 5 comfortable and spacious en-suite Tents configured with double and twin tents with 1 guide room raised on a deck overlooking the vast plains of Mara savannah reflecting traditional building style with combination of sold materials and high level of comfort.
Tents are well elevated , decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, bathrooms with hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, free toiletries, complementary bottled water, wooden chairs and tables, white duvets and pillows and many More. Tents have terraces and large sitting areas overlooking the spectacular views of over the Mara Plains, river and surrounding area. Tents are equipped with comfortable clean bedding containing king and queen sized beds. There is a campfire pit where guests relax and share stories/ experience about the safari da that provides warmth to visitors staying at. Rooms are in different sizes with single beds for individuals ,double/twin for couple or Two people and family options with different costs ranging from 300$ per night and above ( note that high season rate is different to low season rate.)
Mara toto camp offers more services and facilities which include;
A restaurant in the main Tent with the view of the plain serving different cuisines both international and African- inspired meals that meets guest’s choice. Meals offered include; Continental breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner in the main building served by well trained, friendly and welcoming staff, you can have meals in any place of your choice either veranda overlooking the park or in the dining areas. Bush breakfasts are also offered while enjoying morning sunrises and bush dinners while overlooking the stars in the sky and savannah plains.
A-well stocked bar with variety of refreshment both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, you relax on balcony while sipping the sundowner that winds up your evening overlooking the spectacular view of the Mara plain and surrounding areas

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya ,Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors .
Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July ,August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
