Richards’ forest camp is a 3 star mid -range accommodation found in the private Ol-choro conservancy at the edge of the Kenya’s Famous Masaai Mara National game Reserve. The camp is under Richard’s camp collection that runs different properties and offers intimate safari experience across Kenya. The camp is situated approximately (5-6 hour’s drive) 260km from Nairobi to Masaai Mara national park and an hour to fly from Nairobi city to its own private river camp airstrip then few minutes’ drive to be transferred to the camp.
Richard’s Forest camp consists of 8 spacious and comfortable large traditional tents raised on a wooden deck overlooking the beautiful Mara plain reflecting traditional building styles with modern comfort. Each tent is well elevated on a raised platform, decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flushing toilets, solar powered hot and cold showers, dressing tables, mosquito nets, free Toiletries, white duvets and soft linen beddings, slippers, Free bottled water in the tents, free toiletries to Mention But a few. Each tent has a sitting areas, terrace and vanity deck that give a better view over the Mara Plains, wildlife roaming around the camp since its not fenced and surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with comfortable clean linen beddings containing queen sized beds. There is a fireplace at the camp where guests relax and share stories about safari it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. The camp offers tents suitable for family as well as individuals with single bed, double beds/twin for sharing.

A restaurant in main canvas structure that serves different meals both international ( vegetarians and non- vegetarians) and Kenyan cuisine to meets guests choice; English breakfast , picnic lunch and dinners (both in and outdoor dinners) served by well trained, welcoming and organized staff ,they also serve bush diners overlooking the stars in the sky and bush breakfast while enjoying the morning sunrise and animals roaming around the camp
A well-stocked bar and lounge with variety of refreshments both local ,cocktail , wines, spirits and international beers, you relax and sip the cocktail while overlooking the Mara wilderness and surrounding area

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
