Saruni Mara Camp
Saruni Mara Camp is a small mid- range boutique accommodation situated in the private conservation areas, Mara North Conservancy covering 30,000 hectares of landscape outside the famous game rich Masaai Mara National Reserve in Kenya Region. The camp sit’s along the hillside overlooking the stunning views over the Mara plains and surrounding areas. The camp is owned and operated by saruni camps and lodges that run different properties across Kenya. . You can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately 5-6 hours’ (250km) drive from Nairobi city center via Narok and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close Mara North Conservancy airstrip then few minutes’ drive to be transferred to the camp, Kenya Safaris .
Saruni Mara camp consists of 5 fully furnished spacious and comfortable cottages, one family villa and one private villa raised on a wooden deck overlooking Mara Plains reflecting traditional building styles with grass thatched roofs.
Each cottage is well elevated on a raised platform, decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flushing toilets, solar powered hot and cold showers, dressing tables, mosquito nets, work Decks, Wooden Tables, free Toiletries, white duvets and soft linen beddings, Free bottled water in the rooms to Mention But a few. Each cottage has a sitting areas, Private verandas and vanity deck that give a better view over the wilderness, wildlife roaming around the camp since it’s not fenced and surrounding areas.
Cottages are equipped with comfortable clean linen beddings containing queen sized beds. There are fireplaces at the camp where guests relax and share stories about safaris; it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. The camp offers tents suitable for family as well as individuals with single bed, double beds/twin for sharing with different costs ranging from 300usd per night that keeps changing depending on season.

A restaurant in main canvas structure that serves different meals both international ( vegetarians and non- vegetarians) and Kenyan cuisine to meets guests choice ,; English breakfast , picnic lunch and dinners (both in and outdoor dinners) served by well trained, welcoming and organized staff ,they also serve bush diners overlooking the stars in the sky and bush breakfast while enjoying the morning sunrise.

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border.
The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
