Sekena Camp is one of the authentic bush camps that give our guests the best bush experience in Africa as one comes close to nature, its found just next to the source of Sekenani River hence getting its name from that. The Sekanani camp is located on the Northeast corner of the Masai Mara national Reserve, it takes roughly 5 hours drive from Kenya’s capital city Nairobi.
If one is not having enough time or cannot dance on African massage I mean the horrible conditions of our bumpy roads its great pleasure that they near by airstrip is just 45 minutes drive (Keekorok airstrip) to the camp, the camp is just 6 kilometers from the Sekenani main gate as it overlooks at the Sekenani River.
Some tents of the camp over look at the sekenani springs which are the source of the Sekenani River. This camp has one of the best dining rooms in Masai with occupancy of around 40 clients with fully parked leaving bar accommodating local and international beverages, private dining, camp fire set every evening and bush dinner under request.
Other camp facilities are: The swimming pool which is suited overlooking the River, Craft shop where guest can get all the local Maasai gifts locally made. Sekenani Camp has 15 tents which are self contained and privately located hence guests only meet during meal time at the restaurant which is positioned in the center of other tents. Sekenani camps have 15 fully furnished double tents which can occupy up to 30 to 40 beds with 5 doubles and 10 twins
