Shayoni Safari Camp is a budget eco-friendly accommodation found in Musiara Campsite, 230 yards from the Centre at the edge of Maasai Mara National Park Kenya. You can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately 5-6 hours (260km) drive from Nairobi city center to Maasai Mara National Park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close airstrip then a few minutes’ drive to be transferred to the camp.   The camp is convenient for safari adventure to tourists and travelers who want to explore the park with its beautiful view of the Mara Plains, wildlife and surrounding areas.

 Shayoni safari camp consists of 4 spacious and comfortable tents that accommodate over 6 people overlooking the beautiful garden perfect for family /group reflecting traditional building styles.  Each tent is well elevated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, safari-style showers/buckets, mosquito nets,  Deck chairs, Wooden Tables, Free bottled water, free toiletries in the tents and many others. Each tent has sitting areas and private verandas that give a better view over the hills and surrounding areas.  Tents are equipped with comfortable clean beddings containing queen-sized beds.  There is a fireplace at the camp where guests relax and share stories about safaris; it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights.  The camp offers tents suitable for families as well as individuals with single beds, double beds, twin for sharing, and triple beds. The cost ranges from 100$ per night and above, during high season rate is always higher than in low season rated

Shayoni Safari Camp offers more services and facilities which include;

A restaurant in the main building that serves different   meals  both international and Kenyan cuisines to meet guests’ choice, English breakfast, picnic lunch and  dinners (both in and outdoor dinners)  served by well-trained, friendly and organized  staff, they also serve bush diners overlooking the stars in the sky

A bar and lounge with a variety of refreshments both, local, cocktails, wines, spirits, and international beers,  you relax  and sip the cocktail  while overlooking  the breathtaking views  over the wilderness  and surrounding area

Services; Free parking space available,  Laundry and housekeeping  services available, airport pickups and drop-offs offered,

 Wifi hotspot internet is available at the camp enabling visitors to keep in touch with their families and friends. You are able to surf the web while connected.

Recreational activities include a game drive that will give a chance to see a wide range of animals, Hot air ballooning safaris, nature walks in the local villages visits especially the Maasai, walk night safaris, birding / bird watching since the park has a lot of bird species and many others

Maasai Mara National Park is among the largest and most visited parks in Kenya known for its incredible density and variety of animals. it is situated  270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Maasai are an initial and local group of semi–nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National Park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million animals including lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti National Park during July, August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
