Tangulia Mara Camp

Tangulia Mara Camp is a 3 star cozy Mid- range accommodation situated on the rocky Hill on the shores of Mara River, on the private land on the western boundary of masaai mara national park Kenya Region. The camp is found 16km away from the Hippo Pool, below Oloolo Escarpment overlooking the Olotulo-Murt salt Lick by the great Mara River. You can be at the lodge by road taking approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close Mara Musiara airstrip then few minutes to be transferred to the camp. The camp is in the perfect place for travellers and tourists who want to explore the park overlooking the wide range of wild beasts’ migration across mara river and surrounding areas.

Tangulia Mara camp consists of 8 spacious and comfortable tents Including the family tent overlooking the Mara River and surrounding Landscape . The camp offers king twin, doubles, individual beds (single) and family rooming options .All tents reflect traditional building style with natural materials and Modern blending designs.

Each tent is well raised on a wooden platform ,decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, inside hot water heated through solar water system and cold showers, mosquito nets, Wooden chairs & Tables, dressing Mirrors and tables, Hair driers , Complementary Bottled water, free toiletries , white duvet and pillows to mention but a few. Each tent has large sitting areas, veranda with a vintage view over Mara River , Mara Plain and surrounding areas. There is cracking log fire at the lodge where fire glows with comfortable chairs for guests to relax and share more experience about the safaris not only that it also provides warmth to visitors during bad weather.

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved Savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border.

The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
