Detailed Itinerary of 10 Days Kenya and Zanzibar Holiday
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Upon arrival Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and immediately embark on your adventure. Head on a journey to Masai Mara through the heart of the Great African Rift Valley where you will enjoy incredible views of the escarpment.
Have another stopover in Narok town for an interaction with the local people and continue to Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch at your lodge and short rest. In the afternoon you will go for your first game drive in the plains of Masai Mara, lookout for resident animals including lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, gazelles among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Overnight: Julia’s River Camp

Day 2: Full day in Masai Mara Game Reserve
Have a full exploring the endless plains of Masai Mara and enjoying the beauty and wildlife calling the reserve home. To add more adventure to your experience, have a balloon safari which allows to float above the reserve and enjoy aerial views of the reserve’s animals. This experience ends with a champagne breakfast served in the bush.
On the full day game drive, you will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with picnic lunch set at one the picnic sites along the Mara River where you may spot crocodiles. Lookout for the Big Five, lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhino, prey-predator action which is thrilling to see.
At sunset, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
Enjoy breakfast, checkout of the lodge and depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch. Check-in at your lodge for your meals and short relaxation. In the afternoon you will go for a game drive exploring Lake Nakuru National Park, lookout for large herds of rhinos, giraffes and zebras among others. You will also visit Lake Nakuru where you will see many pink flamingoes congregating at the shores of the lake. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park
Have early breakfast, checkout of the lodge and make your way to Amboseli National Park. The journey takes you through the rolling landscapes of Kenya, crossing numerous villages and farmlands. Along the way you will have lunch and continue to Amboseli, when you arrive in the park you will be welcomed by the scenic views of Mount Kilimanjaro – the tallest mountain on the continent.
Embark on an afternoon game drive giving you the best introduction to Amboseli, you will enjoy sighting of abundant wildlife including large herds of elephants among others.

Day 5: Full Day exploring Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, meet your guide and head to the park for a full day of exploring Amboseli National Park nicknamed The Land of Giants. You will explore the plains of the park filled with hundreds of animals including zebras, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards and many beautiful birds.
You will enjoy picnic lunch and in the later afternoon, you will head to the Masai Village for a cultural experience. Here you will be entertained by local dances and drama, interact with the Masai Elders and get a taste of their local meals. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park – Nairobi by Road, to Zanzibar by Plane
This is your last day in Amboseli National Park, you will wake up early for breakfast and go for a morning game drive as you exit the park and embark on a journey back to Nairobi.
Your driver guide will drop you off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, your driver will meet you and take you to your hotel along the beautiful white sands of Zanzibar.
Main Destination: Zanzibar Island

Day 7-9: Full Day in Zanzibar
Spend these 3 Days on the beautiful islands of Zanzibar, whether you opt for a long, lazy morning in bed or an early start to be able to take full advantage of your surroundings. The beautiful beaches of Zanzibar are lined with soft, white, powder sand, giving you that perfectly delightful feeling underfoot. The gentle waves that roll back and forth come from the crystal – clear water of the Indian Ocean, the beach is lined with coconut trees and gentle forest, making the whole scene perfectly idyllic.
If you prefer your beach time to be more active, there are a range of activities available such as snorkeling, scuba diving, parasailing, wakeboarding and water-skiing.
