Highlights of 10 Days Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda Safari
Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater with a visit to the Olduvai Gorge and Crater rim Walk
Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welocmed by our guide and after a short briefing about what to expect on the safari you will transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On arrival, you will visit the Olduvai Gorge – a rich archaelogical site found in the eastern Serengeti plain and is known as The Cradle of Mankind because it is believed to be the site of found remains of the first human beings to walk on Earth. During the visit, you will learn more about the remains of people, visit the Olduvai Gorge Museum and the Olduvai Gorge Monument.
After lunch, you will go for a Crater rim walk on which you will explore extinct volcanoes, diverse landscapes, wildlife and meet the local Maasai people who live in this area, the walk takes about 2 to 3 hours and you will be able to spot various animals including wildebeests, zebras, warthogs, elephants among others. In the evening you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will descend to the crater floor for a full day game drive exploring the crater, expect to spot anumber of animals including rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, gerenukus, wildebeests among others.
Ngorongoro Crater – the World’s largest intact caldera is also famous for birdlife including flamingoes at Lake Magadi and Lake Makat found at the middle of the crater floor, some of the birds you will see include flamingoes, pelicans, Egyptian geese, mmer kop, Lilac breasted rollers weaversand many more aquatic species.
Later in the evening you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Hhando Coffee Lodge.

Day 3: Enroute in Serengeti and transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Wake up for breakfast and head to Serengeti national park for a short game drive on which you will spot lions, wildebeests, gazelles, elephants among others. Then proceed to Maasai Mara National Reserve with border crossing at Isebania Border where you will clear with the authorities and meet our Kenyan guides and transfer to Maasai Mra national reserve arriving in the evening. Check into your lodge for dinner and overnight at Zebra Plains Mara Luxury Camp.

Day 4- 5 : Full day in Masai Mara with hot air balloon – optional activity
Have early morning breakfast and head to the reserve for a full day game drive exploring the plains of Masai Mara National Reserve and have a chance to spot a variety of animals including lions, buffaloes, wildebeests, leopards, cheetahs, elands, gazelles, hippos, giraffes, Nile crocodiles at Mara River among others.
You can have an optional hot air balloon on which you will enjoy aerial views of the endless plains of Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Day 6 : Nature walk and visit the Masai people
Have breakfast and head for a nature walk in the plains of Masai Mara, with an armed ranger and guide, you will have a closer encounter with the animals such as giraffes, elands, wildebeests. Aditionally you will also enjoy scenic views of the reserve and its endless plains.
After lunch, you will go for a visit to the Masai village where you will have a deeper insight into their local lifestyle, be entertained by local dances and drama, taste some of their local meals, enter their bomas and interact with some of them. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Fly to Bwindi
After breakfast, you will checkout of your lodge and be driven to the airstrip for your flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, on landing at Kisoro Airstrip, you will be picked up by our guide and be transfered to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge.

Day 8: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up early for breakfast and head to the park’s headquarters for registration and briefing experience about the dos and donts passed on to you by a ranger guide, in groups of 8 people you will be assigned a gorilla group to trek and then head to the starting point for gorilla trekking.
With packed lunch, you will head into the forests of Bwindi in search for mountain gorillas which takes 2-8 hours and when you find the gorillas, you will stay 1 hour in the presence of the gorillas observing their behavior and how they stay in the forests. Later you will head back to the park’s headquarters where you will be rewarded by gorilla trekking certificates, meet your guide and head to the Batwa Community for a local encounter. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 09: Transfer back to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha Southern Sector where you will spot the tree climbing lions on fig trees, after lunch at your lodge you will go for an exciting boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel a famous home for the biggest populations for hippos. During the Cruise you will spot animals like herds of elephants, buffaloes, hippos and many birds including herons, pelicans, comorants among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Elephant Hab Lodge.

Day 10: drive back to Kampala or drive
Wake up early for breakfast and with en-route game drive you will transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Entebbe International Airport for your flight to Nairobi.
