Detailed itinerary of 8 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Drive to Masai Mara national reserve, Game Drive
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide. After a short briefing, proceed for a transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve. When you arrive in the reserve you will go for a game drives looking out for wildlife species such as African big five like lions, leopards, Rhinos, Elephants, Buffalos and other game as you drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day at Masai Mara national reserve, Maasai Cultural Tour
Have an early breakfast at your lodge ahead of your game viewing activity in the open savannah plains of the reserve. You will search for a variety of wildlife species such as the big five which include lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and rhinos as well as other wildlife species such as such as giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, elands, zebras, topic among others.
You will enjoy your lunch after your morning game drive as you enjoy the beautiful scenery around the reserve and watch wildlife species grazing in the plains. After lunch, you will have a Maasai cultural tour introducing you to one of the most popular tribes and cultures in Africa. Thereafter, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Hot Air Balloon Ride, Game Drive
Wake up to an early cup of tea or coffee and proceed to the launching area of the hot air balloon safari. Look out for nocturnal animals as they return from their nightly work, watch the preparation of the hot air balloon and get to embark on one of the most extra ordinary experience, a hot air balloon safari! Watch the Masai Mara plains come to life with an amazing sunrise, and enjoy views of the park and the wildlife below!
After, you shall enjoy a bush breakfast, meet your driver guide for yet another game viewing safari experience in the Masai Mara whilst on the ground. Enjoy your lunch in the wilderness. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 4: Transfer from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park
You will have a very early breakfast and checkout from the lodge early in the morning. You will be driven out of the reserve to the border of Isebania.
You will clear from the border customs office then after your guide in Tanzania will drive you to Serengeti National Park. You will have en route game drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge for Mid-Luxury, Central Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp for Mid-range, Tukaone Serengeti Camp for Budget.

Day 5: Full day at the Serengeti National Park
After your breakfast early at your lodge, your guide will take you on a morning game viewing experience around the vast savannah plains of Serengeti national park where you will look for wildlife species like the big five and also wildebeests, hippos, elands, impalas, kudu, waterbucks, zebras, gazelles, giraffes and predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs among others.
You will also have lunch after your morning game drive and later engage in another game drive in the national park, especially in Seronera River area to search for other wildlife species and your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Crater Rim Walk
Enjoy your lunch at the lodge, and then proceed for a transfer out of the Serengeti enjoying yet another game drive. Have your lunch en-route, and get to embark on a guided walking safari in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Come up-close with nature and wildlife, and thereafter proceed for a transfer to your lodge of stay. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Maasai Bomas Visit
Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge, and proceed to descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day’s safari tour. Supported by year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot.
You will also visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually have been seen here. Enjoy a Maasai cultural experience visiting the Bomas who reside with the wild game! Return to the lodge late for dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 8: Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge leisurely, check out and proceed to transfer to Arusha and be dropped off at your hotel of stay or at the airport for your outbound flight, bringing your safari to an end.
