Detailed itinerary of 8 Days Tanzania Wildlife & Uganda Gorilla Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania (Arusha)
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport where our representative will meet you and welcome you to Tanzania, you will be transferred to your booked hotel in Arusha where you can relax and unwind from the long flight.
Later in the evening your safari guide will join you at your hotel for briefing about your 8 Days Tanzania Wildlife & Uganda Gorilla Safari, all the necessary details about the safari will be provided to you.

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park where you will have your first adventure in Tanzania on this 8 Days Tanzania Wildlife and Uganda Gorilla Safari.
The journey from Arusha City to Tarangire National Park is just about 2 hours, when you arrive in the park you will proceed to explore the park’s abundant wildlife.
Tarangire National Park is renowned for its large elephant populations and the giant baobab trees, you will get excited by seeing large herds of elephants and see other several wildlife species including lions, leopards, hyenas, zebras, buffaloes and various antelopes among others.
You will enjoy your lunch, then embark on an afternoon game drive to have more opportunities of spotting wildlife in Tarangire National Park. As your day comes to a close, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Visit Lake Manyara National Park & Transfer to Karuru
Wake up early for your breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park. This short journey is about 1 hour drive, when you arrive in the park you will proceed with a game viewing safari in the park to experience its abundant wildlife.
Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree climbing lions that can be seem resting on the acacia branches, enjoy your game drive through the park exploring various regions to have opportunities to spot different resident wildlife species.
You will have a break for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot in the park.
After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive in the park for opportunities to witness all other wildlife that you might have missed during your morning adventure in the park. The experienced guide will drive you to wildlife spots within the park for opportunities to see lions, leopards, elephants, hyenas, buffaloes and several other species. After your adventure in Lake Manyara, you will embark on a transfer to Karatu.
Arrive in the late evening and proceed to your booked lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 4: Exploring Ngorongoro Crater
Following an early morning breakfast, descend 600 meters into the iconic Ngorongoro Crater for a game viewing experience. The Ngorongoro Crater is a celebrated UNESCO World Heritage Site, the crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world.
Ngorongoro Crater is renowned for its large populations of lions, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, elephants, cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeests among other wildlife species. Safaris to Ngorongoro Crater will grant you opportunities to witness large number of wildlife during game viewing safaris in Tanzania. You will also witness the abundant birdlife and natural beauty.
In the late afternoon, you will return to the crater rim where the lodge is located.

Day 5: Transfer to Uganda (Entebbe)
You will have a leisure breakfast at your lodge, then transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your scheduled flight to Entebbe International Airport in Uganda.
On arrive, your guide be waiting to receive you and transfer you to your booked hotel around Entebbe City.
You will spend the rest of your day at your hotel in Entebbe relaxing and unwinding ffrom the flight and the amazing wildlife experience in Tanzania.

Day 6: Fly or drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Wake up early in the morning have breakfast at our hotel, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled flight to Kisoro Airstrip. The flight takes about 1 hour, upon arrival you will be met your driver guide who will then transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Drive to your lodge, check in and enjoy lunch. You will spend the afternoon at leisure or exploring the surrounding. Dinner will be served at your lodge.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Today is the long awaited and most incredible day of this 8 Days Tanzania Wildlife & Uganda Gorilla Safari.
Wake up early for breakfast at your lodge and then proceed with a drive to the park headquarters for briefing on the gorilla trekking experience, a guide will brief you about the dos and don’ts during the gorilla trekking and later grouped into groups of 8 people. Each group is allocated a ranger guide, enter into the jungle in search for the gorillas. The experience takes approximately 2 to 6 hours or more of looking for the gorillas.
When you locate the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour in the presence of the gorilla taking pictures and watching them go on with their life in the forest. Return to the lodge to enjoy your meals and in the afternoon, there is an optional cultural visit to the nearby Batwa Community for a cultural experience.
Day 8: Departure
This is the final day of 8 Days Tanzania Wildlife and Uganda Gorilla Safari, wake up and have breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, embark on a transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe.
At Entebbe International Airport, you will connect to your international flight back home.
