This safari start in Nairobi City in Kenya, visit Amboseli National Park where you will be rewarded with magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of elephants. Then head to Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro and Serengeti in Tanzania where you will see various animals including the Big Five.
Cross over to Kenya again for a visit to Masai Mara, an iconic safari destination renowned for its high concentration of wildlife and the great migration.

Detailed itinerary of 9 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Amboseli National Park
Your personal safari-guide shall pick you from the airport or hotel of stay in Nairobi and drive to Amboseli National Park. Enjoy lunch en-route and when you arrive in the park, have a game drive looking for wild game drive as you head to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Guided Walking Safari in Amboseli, Transfer to Arusha
Have early breakfast and head out for a guided walking safari in Amboseli National Park for an opportunity to come up close with nature and wildlife including long-tusked elephants.
Then proceed to transfer to Arusha via Namanga Border with en-route lunch, your Tanzania safari guide shall be ready to pick you from the border and proceed to transfer to Arusha Town where you will stay overnight at Burka Coffee Lodge

Day 3: Tarangire National Park Game Drive
your guide shall pick you up at the hotel after breakfast and proceed to transfer you to Tarangire National Park, a beautiful Tanzania park renowned for large herds of elephants and numerous bird species.
You will engage in a game drive in Tarangire National Park, lookout for different wildlife species such as large herds of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, leopards among others. After the game drive you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Hhando Coffee Lodge

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Walking Safari
Have early breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descend about 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater during your game drive. Lookout for wildlife species such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, rhinos, cheetahs, hippos, antelopes, kudu, zebras, impalas, gazelles among others on the Ngorongoro Crater floor.
You will also visit Lake Magadi in the corner of the crater where you will see flamingoes and other bird species on the lake shores.
After your picnic lunch in the wild, head out for a walking safari experience along the crater rim giving you an opportunity to come-up close with nature and wild game including zebras, antelopes among others as you are guided by a ranger guide. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Hhando Coffee Lodge.
Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
Meet your guide after breakfast check out of the lodge and proceed for a transfer to Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a game drive and game watching through Ngorongoro and as you proceed to your lodge in Serengeti for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will return to the endless plains for an afternoon game drives. Lookout for more wildlife and enjoy the sunset over the Serengeti Plains. Dinner and overnight at Mara River Camp by TLC

Day 6: Full Day Serengeti National Park
start the day with early breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for a full day of wildlife viewing in Serengeti, start with a morning game drive around the endless plains as you look out for wildlife species like elephants, wildebeests, cheetahs, antelopes, kudus, giraffes, waterbucks, zebras among others.
You will have picnic lunch or lunch at the lodge, on the afternoon game drive you will search for other wildlife species in the savannah plains of Serengeti enjoying the beautiful scenery and the migrating wildebeest herds. Also, you will have a chance to witness the Mara River Crossing. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Masai Mara Reserve
After breakfast at the lodge, depart from Serengeti National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve with border crossing at Isebania border where your Kenya Safari guide shall meet you once again.
Proceed to the lodge as you lookout for amazing wildlife in the reserve, including some herds of wildebeests, lions, leopards, buffaloes among others. Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge

Day 8: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
Today, spend the whole day in Masai Mara National Reserve looking for wild game and also the Wildebeest Migration. Have a chance to see the Mara River crossing here as well, and so much more that Masai Mara has to offer, punctuated with picnic lunch. Continue exploring the reserve till evening, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 9: Masai Cultural Tour, Departure
Enjoy an early breakfast, meet your guide, leave the park by 10 am and go for a visit to the Masai Village for a cultural experience. Interact with the Maasai people, learn about their culture and way of life, you can also buy some souvenirs to take home with you.
Later embark on a journey to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home.
