Kenya Park / conservation fees (January 2022 to 30th June, 2022) : Kenya Wildlife Services (KWS) tasked with managing Kenya national parks and reserves has introduced new conservation/park entry fees effective from January 2022 to 30th June 2022. this applies to National reserves such as Samburu national reserve

USEFUL POINTS TO NOTE
Entry Fees
Entry fees are applicable to every visiting accessing Kenya national parks, reserves and conservancies. They are valid for 24 hours to visitors staying inside the protected areas and 12 hours for visitors staying out of the parks thus Kenya Park / conservation fees (January 2022 to 30th June, 2022).
Resident rates/ fees
These fees are for visitors who are residents of the Kenya and East Africa Community Countries that are Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi. As a resident visitor, you are required to be in possession and present their National IDs from their respective countries.
For resident visitors with no national IDS or Passports will be required to pay Non-Resident fees/rates.
Student rates/fees
These fees apply to visitors aged between 3 years and 18 years visiting Kenya’s national parks, reserves and conservancies on a trip sponsored by a recognized education institution. Students are required to have a valid Student ID and visiting the park on a pre-arranged school organized trip for education or research purposes.
To get an authorization for student fees, you must inform KWS in a period of 2 weeks prior to your visit. This period of time offers Kenya Wildlife Services enough time to issue an authorization.
Non-resident rates/fees
These fees apply for international visitors not living or working in Kenya, these kind of visitors are required to present valid passports thus Kenya Park / conservation fees (January 2022 to 30th June, 2022).
Mode of payment
Visitors to Kenya national parks, reserves and sanctuaries can pay make payments in cashless form, using Mpesa, Visa Cards, MasterCard and direct deposits to KWS Bank accounts.
