Nyakulo Mara camp

Nyakulo Mara camp is a mid-range accommodation found in the Sekenani area within Kenya’s famous Masaai Mara National Park. The camp is situated 20km from Keekerok Airstrip. You can get to the lodge by road or air transport, taking approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center to Masaai  mara national park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close keekerok airstrip then a few minutes to be transferred to the camp.

The camp is convenient to travelers, tourists and holidaymakers for safari adventures since it’s close to the river crossing and relaxation as you explore a true Kenya wildlife safari in Maasai Mara national park.

Nyakulo Mara Camp consists of over three comfortable and spacious tents with views of the wilderness. The tent offers the combination of twin, double on a sharing basis, individual beds (single) and family rooming options.  Each tent reflects a traditional building style with natural materials of local woods. Tents are well elevated, decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, inside hot and cold showers, bathrobes and slippers,  chairs, mosquito nets, hand wash basins, Deck chair, Wooden Tables, and Free bottled water in the rooms, free toiletries and many others.  Each tent has sitting areas and verandas with vanity decks that give great views of the surrounding areas.  There is a cracking fireplace where guests relax and share more experiences about the safaris; not only that, but it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights.

 Nyakulo  Mara CAMP and cottage offers more services and facilities, which include;

A  dining areas  that serves  different cuisines, both international (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) and Kenyan  cuisine that  meets  guests choice . They offer buffet breakfast served from 6am to 9am, picnic lunch and dining areas that serve both indoor and outdoor diners served by a well- trained friendly and organized staff that ensures comfort and safety, they also serve bush diners overlooking the stars or enjoying the morning sunrises, especially in the morning.

A bar with refreshments of both local and international cocktails, wines, spirits and beers, where you relax and sip the cocktail while overlooking the stunning, breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

Masaai Mara National Park is among the largest and most  visited parks in Kenya, known for its incredible density and variety of animals. It is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya, occupying a total area of 1,510 km squared. There are over 1 million tribes in Kenya; the Maasai are the initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million animals, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and hippos; 600 species of birds; and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers.
