The camp offers the Unveiling views of the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem (Savannah plains) since it borders Tanzania overlooking sand River. You can be at the camp by road or air transport, taking approximately 5-6 hours (260km) drive from Nairobi city center to Masaai mara national park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close serena airstrip then a few minutes’ drive to be transferred to the camp.

The Ritz Carlton Masaai camp consists of 20 luxurious and comfortable en-suite tents overlooking the beautiful sand River and breathtaking views, reflecting traditional building styles. Each tent is well elevated, decorated, and furnished with en-suite facilities that include clean private flush toilets, safari-style hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, deck chairs, wooden tables, free bottled water, free toiletries, and more. Each tent has sitting areas, Private verandas that give a better view over the savannah plains and surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with comfortable, clean bedding containing queen-sized beds. There are fireplaces at the camp where guests relax and share stories about safaris; they also provide warmth to visitors during cold nights. The camp offers tents suitable for families, as well as individuals with single beds, double beds, twin beds for sharing, and triple beds.

The park is home to over a million animals, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and hippos, as well as 600 species of birds and 60 species of raptors in various colors.
Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October.
