Detailed Itinerary of 11 Days Masai Mara – Amboseli & Zanzibar Holiday
Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Masai Mara
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative, who will brief you about your itinerary. Then embark on a journey to Masai Mara National Reserve, and have a stopover in Narok Town, where you will experience the culture of the Maasai people as you visit the craft shops and seethe local art and craft work, such as beaded jewelry like necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, which are made in different unique patterns.
Enjoy lunch in Narok Town and proceed to Masai Mara, where you will check in at your lodge and in the evening go for a game drive to search for a variety of wildlife species, such as prides of lions, elephants, buffaloes, and gazelles, among others.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge – Luxury, Julia’s River Camp – Midrange, Mara Sentrim Camp – Budget.

Day 2-3: Full Day Masai Mara
Enjoy breakfast as you prepare for a full day of exploring the savannah plains of Masai Mara National Reserve as you search for various wildlife species. On the morning game drive you will see a variety of wildlife species, such as the Big Five, including leopards, lions, buffaloes, rhinos and elephants, as they are at their most active at this time.
Enjoy lunch in the wilderness of the reserve as you enjoy the beautiful scenery and watch the wildlife species grazing and roaming in the distant plains. After your emails, you will have another game drive where you will see wildlife species such as giraffes, elands, wildebeests, zebras, and topis, among others. Continue exploring the reserve till evening, and return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to Amboseli
After an early breakfast at your lodge, check out and embark on a journey to Amboseli National Park. Along the way you will have a stopover in Nairobi, where you will have lunch; continue to the park; and with an evening game drive, you will head to the lodge for check-in, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5&6: Full day in Amboseli
Spend these two days exploring Amboseli National Park. Take part in a morning game drive where you will see a variety of wildlife since they are more active at this time of day. Also, you will enjoy the beautiful sunrise with the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro and see several wildlife species, such as lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos, among others.
After your morning game drive, you will have a lunch break as you enjoy the beauty of nature around the national park. After lunch, you will have another game drive, after which you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as above.
Day 07: Flight to Zanzibar (Own Booking)
After breakfast, your guide will drive you back to Nairobi for your flight to Zanzibar Island. On arrival you will be picked up from the airport in Zanzibar on arrival and driven to your hotel for check-in. You will spend the rest of the day relaxing at the beach. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08: Stone Town, Prison Island and Spice Tour
After a leisurely breakfast, you will go for a Stone Town Tour, exploring this ancient town and visiting several sites, including the House of Wonders, the Former Slave Market, and the Darajani Bazaar, among others. Take a private boat from Stone Town to Changuu Island or Prison Island where you will enjoy seeing the Giant Tortoises and during your tour of the island, you will also enjoy snorkeling.
Take a boat ride back Stone Town, in the afternoon you will see different exotic species where you will get to know the uses of the species like cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg among others. After the Spice Tour, you will return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay as above.
Day 09: Zanzibar Beach Experience
Spend the day relaxing at the white sand beaches of Zanzibar Island and enjoying views of the Indian Ocean. Dinner and overnight stay above.
Day 10: Safari Blue Experience
Enjoy the best boat tour on the island, which is a truly amazing experience sailing in the beautiful traditional dhows. You will enjoy a boat ride, enjoy a delicious buffet and drinks, fresh tropical fruits and snacks, snorkeling and also visit Menai Bay. After the experience, you will be driven back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay as above.
Day 11: Departure
Your breakfast will be served at your hotel in Zanzibar as you prepare for your drive to the airport, which will bring your safari to an end.
