The 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Tracking Tour is a short gorilla safari recommended who visitors on a short safari to Uganda wishing to encounter the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. This Uganda gorilla safari package takes you on an adventurous visit to Bwindi impenetrable national park, the park is dominated by rainforest jungles – one of the oldest African Montane Forest which are a home to the endangered mountain gorillas.
This safari offers you an opportunity to stay in the presence of mountain gorillas for one hour and take as many photo as possible.

Detailed Itinerary of 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Tracking Tour
Day 0: Arrival
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked up by your private tour – driver and transfer to your booked hotel in Entebbe or Kampala.

Day 1 – Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up by your tour driver- guide and embark on a journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park, along the way you will have a stopover in Kayabwe at the Equator for monumental pictures and purchasing of craft pieces.
You will have another stopover in Mbarara for lunch then proceed to Bwindi arriving in the evening, along the way you will enjoy the scenic views of the western Uganda hills and valleys in Kisoro dubbed as “Switzerland of Africa”. Check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today is the main highlight of this Uganda Gorilla Tracking tour as you will track and encounter the endangered mountain gorillas in misty jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
You will wake up early for breakfast and as early as 06:30 you will head to the park’s headquarters with your packed lunch for briefing about gorilla trekking safari and registration. You will be grouped into 8 people and then be assigned a gorilla family to trek, with the guidance of a ranger and guides you will head into forests of Bwindi impenetrable national park looking for mountain gorillas.
Gorilla trekking experience takes approximately 2-6 hours depending on the movement of mountain gorillas and the gorilla family you are trekking, you will be allowed to spend one hour in the presence of the gorillas while observing their behavior and taking amazing pictures. After one hour, you will return to the park’s headquarters to collect your trekking permits and then head back to your lodge for an evening of resting. Have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3 – Travel to Entebbe/Kampala
After breakfast, you will bid Bwindi farewell and embark on a return journey to Kampala, you will have lunch along the way and when you arrive in Kampala, you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport for your departure flight back home.
After breakfast, you can take your return journey back to Entebbe by road or local flight arriving right in time for your flight back home.
