Mara Paran Camp is a new luxury boutique accommodation found close to Oloolamutiak Gate, just 5 minutes from the heart of the famous Maasai Mara National Park, Kenya, region. The camp is situated in the hub of giraffes sliding through the African savannah, perfect for game viewing for travelers and tourists visiting the park.
You can be at the camp by road or air transport, taking approximately a 5-6 hour (250 km) drive from Nairobi city center to Maasai Mara National Park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close Ol Kiombo airstrip, then a few minutes’ drive to be transferred to the camp.
The camp is convenient and business-friendly for tourists and travelers who want to explore the park, with its beautiful views of the Talek River and wildlife drinking water at the river and in surrounding areas.
Mara Paran Camp consists of 15 spacious and comfortable tents overlooking the beautiful African savannah, reflecting traditional building styles with comfort. Each tent is well elevated, decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, safari-style hot and cold showers, dressing mirrors, mosquito nets, deck chairs, work decks, wooden tables, free toiletries, complementary bottled water in the tents and many others.
Each tent has a sitting area, Private verandas and a vanity deck that give a better view over the savannah and wildlife roaming around and in surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with comfortable, clean bedding containing queen-sized beds.
There is a fireplace at the camp where guests relax and share stories about safaris; it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. The camp offers tents suitable for families as well as individuals with single beds, double beds, twin beds, and triple beds.

A dining area in the main canvas structure that serves different meals, both international (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) and Kenyan cuisine, to meet guests’ choices. Well-trained, friendly, and organized staff serve continental breakfast, picnic lunch, and dinners (both indoor and outdoor). They also serve bush dinners overlooking the stars in the sky and bush breakfasts while enjoying the sunrises.
A well-stocked bar and lounge with variety of refreshments, including local and international beers, allows you to relax and sip the cocktail while overlooking the breathtaking views over the Talek river and surrounding area
Services: Free parking space, laundry and housekeeping services, airport pickups and drop-offs, 24-hour security, a massage parlor to help you relax, and a craft shop with handmade gifts such as clothes, beads, and shoes, among others.
Wi-Fi HOTSPOT internet is available at the camp that enables visitors to keep in touch with their families and friends. You are able to surf the web while connected.

Maasai Mara National Park is among the largest and most visited parks in Kenya, known for its incredible density and variety of animals. It is situated 270 km north of Nairobi in Kenya, occupying a total area of 1,510 km².

There are many, over 1 million tribes in Kenya. The Maasai are an indigenous and local group of semi-nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National Park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of birds and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse their plains during their annual migration from Serengeti National Park during July, August and October.
