Olkupelia Mara Camp is a 5-star new luxury accommodation found on the banks of the River Talek at the Edge of the world’s Renowned Maasai Mara National Park, Kenya region. The Hippo Pool View Point is just a few kilometers away. You can be at the camp by road or air transport, taking approximately 5-6 hours’ (250km) drive from Nairobi city center via Narok- sekenani –talek –koyaki and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close ol kiombo airstrip then few km drive to be transferred to the camp. The camp is convenient and business-friendly to tourists, travellers who want to explore the park with its beautiful view of Talek River, wildlife drinking water at the river and the surrounding areas.
Olkupelia Mara camp consists of over 5 fully furnished, spacious and comfortable tents raised on a wooden deck overlooking the Talek River, reflecting traditional building styles with modern comfort. Each tent is well elevated on a raised platform, decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flushing toilets, solar powered hot and cold showers, dressing tables, mosquito nets, work Decks, Wooden Tables, free Toiletries, white duvets and soft linen beddings, free toiletries, Free bottled water in the tents to Mention But a few. Each tent has a sitting areas, Private verandas and a vanity deck that give a better view over the waterhole, wildlife roaming around the camp since it’s not fenced and the surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with comfortable, clean linen beddings containing queen sized beds. There is an outdoor fireplace at the camp where guests relax and share stories about safaris; it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. The camp offers tents suitable for family as well as individuals with single bed, double beds/twin for sharing.
