Detailed Itinerary of 9 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari & Zanzibar Beach Holiday (Bush to Beach)
Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha
On arrival, you will picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport by our representative – your driver guide who will brief you about the safari. Afterwards, you will be taken to your accommodation in Arusha.

Day 2 – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, leave for Tarangire National Park – an incredibly stunning park covering approximately 2600 square kilometers. The park is known for host large herds of elephants and the iconic baobab trees scattered around its landscape, and during the dry season many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the Tarangire River – the permanent water source in the area.
During the game drive you will see huge herds of wildebeests, zebras, elephants, elands and oryx gather around the river. At sunset you will head to your lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3&4 – Serengeti Central
Spend these two days exploring the savannah plains of Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, we head to the Central region of Serengeti National Park well known for its healthy populations of resident wildlife including the Big Five – lion, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos and elephants.
You will enjoy picnic lunch set at one of the picnic sites in the park and continue with the game drive till evening. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we set off to Ngorongoro for a full day Ngorongoro Crater tour, with your picnic lunch boxes descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a full day tour. Ngorongoro Crater is home to over 20,000 mammals including about 20 black rhinoceros, making it the best place in Tanzania to see these amazing creatures.
Ngorongoro Crater floor also has the highest carnivore densities in the world. During the game drive be on a lookout for lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals which are commonly seen, and leopards, serval cats and bat-eared foxes that are seen with some luck.

Day 6 – Flight to Zanzibar
After breakfast, we head to Arusha Town. After lunch you will be dropped off at Arusha Airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar in the afternoon. On landing, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, your driver guide and transfer to your hotel in Stone Town.

Day 7-8 – Zanzibar Beach
Spend these two days exploring the Zanzibar Island. After breakfast, you will go on a guided tour of Stone Tour, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience tracing the footsteps of Arab Sultans on Zanzibar and ponder on the interesting historical sites and labyrinths. See the magnificent famous doors of Zanzibar.
After lunch, we will proceed to a tour of the countryside to the Spice Plantations. Zanzibar Island nicknamed the Spice Island has a rich history and during the tour you will be welcomed by the rich aroma of spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon. After the experience, we head to the beautiful Nungwi Beach where you will spend the 2 nights.

Day 9 – Departure
This is the last day of your 9 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari & Zanzibar Beach Holiday (Bush to Beach). After breakfast you will enjoy the rest of your stay by relaxing in the pool or in the beach while taking in as much sunshine as you can.
In the afternoon, we will take you to the airport for your onward destination.
