Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Pick-up
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Fly to Masai Mara Game Reserve.
After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and transferred to Wilson Airstrip for your flight to the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve. Fly above the endless Savannah plains and enjoy the stunning views. Upon landing, you will be welcomed by your driver-guide and embark on a morning game drive.
Head to your lodge for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, you will return to the reserve for another game viewing adventure. Look out for lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, gazelles, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos and several colorful birds. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3&4: Experience Masai Mara with an optional hot air balloon safari
Spend these two days exploring the iconic Masai Mara National Park, popular for its endless Savannah plains stretching as far as the eye can see, the Big Five and the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Embark on game drives on which you will explore almost every corner of the reserve and enjoy sightings of Masai Mara’s remarkable wildlife, including lions, leopards, buffaloes, gazelles, zebras, cheetahs, and the large herds of migratory animals (wildebeests, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles and zebras that is if you visit in time for the Great Migration).
On one of these mornings, you will enjoy a hot air balloon safari (optional activity) flying over the endless plains of Masai Mara and enjoying an eye’s view of the reserve’s stunning landscape. This thrilling experience ends with a champagne breakfast served in the bush, toasting to the great experience. Then continue with the game drives.

Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge, meet your guide, and depart for Serengeti National Park with an en-route game drive. Cross to Tanzania through the Isebania border, and proceed to your lodge of stay in Serengeti National Park. Check in, have an evening of relaxing as you wait for dinner, and overnight.

Day 6&7: Full day in Serengeti National Park
After a delicious breakfast, head to Serengeti National Park for a morning and afternoon game drives for amazing sightings of lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, elands, hyenas, gazelles, hippos and more. As you explore the endless savannah plains of the Serengeti, rich with wildlife and birdlife, you will enjoy a picnic lunch set at one of the picnic sites in the park. Continue with the game drives till sunset, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Ngorongoro and walking safari along the Crater Rim with a visit to Olduvai Gorge
Enjoy breakfast, head out with your packed lunch, and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation with an en-route game drive. Along the way, you will have a visit to the famous Olduvai Gorge, an archaeological site where Dr. Leakey and his wife discovered several human remains, which are displayed in the Olduvai Gorge.
Continue to the Ngorongoro Crater rim for a walking safari, and have a close encounter with several animals, including zebras, giraffes, warthogs, wildebeests, among others. In the evening, you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Full Day Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
Wake up early for breakfast and descend 600 metres into the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact unfilled caldera in the world and one of the 8 Natural Wonders in Africa, for a full day game drive in search of wildlife.
Some of the animals to look out for include all the Big Five – lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos and elephants. Other animals to look out for include wildebeests, hippos, warthogs, cheetahs, African wild dogs, hyenas, gazelles, among others.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater and continue with the game drive till evening. Ascend the crater rim and head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Transfer to Tarangire National Park – Full Day Game Drive
After breakfast, check out of your lodge and drive to the incredibly beautiful Tarangire National Park, renowned for the giant baobab trees and large herds of elephants. When you arrive in the park, you will go for a game drive and enjoy a picnic lunch at a picnic site overlooking the Tarangire River. In the evening, you will go for a guided walking safari.
Tarangire National Park is home to large herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, troops of baboons and several bird species. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: Morning Game Drive and departure.
After breakfast at the lodge, proceed for a transfer to Arusha, arriving in time for your onward flight, bringing your 10 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari to an end.
