Offbeat Mara Camp is a small and semi-permanent mid-range accommodation found in the wildlife-rich area of Mara North Conservancy on the banks of the Olare Orok River in Kenya’s famous Masai Mara National Park. The camp is nestled within the bush (remote areas) within 74,000 acres of landscape perfect for tourists and travelers looking for comfort and safari adventures.
You can be at the lodge by road, taking approximately a 5-6 hour (250 km) drive from Nairobi city center and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close Ol-Kiombo airstrip, then a 10-minute drive to be transferred to the camp.
Offbeat Mara Camp consists of 7 spacious and comfortable en-suite tents overlooking the stunning view of the wilderness and surrounding landscape.
The camp offers king twin/double beds for sharing and individual beds (single) and is suitable for families/groups as well. All tents reflect traditional building styles with natural materials and modern blending designs.

Each tent is well raised on platform ,decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, inside hot & cold water showers, mosquito nets, wooden chairs & tables, dressing mirrors and tables, complementary bottled water, free toiletries, and white duvets and pillows to mention but a few. Each tent has large sitting areas and a veranda with a vintage viewpoint of the River, Mara Plain and surrounding areas.
There is a cracking fireplace where fire glows with comfortable chairs for guests to relax and share more experiences about the safaris. Not only that, but it also provides warmth to visitors during bad weather.

A well trained friendly and organized staff that ensures comfort and safety. The camp serves bush breakfast, enjoying the morning sunrises, wildlife and bush dinners overlooking the stars in the sky.
A mess bar tent offering variety of refreshments, both local, cocktails, wines, spirits and international beers. They also offer sundowner overlooking the stunning sunset and wildlife roaming around the camp since it’s not fenced and surrounding areas

Masai Mara National Park is among the largest and most visited parks in Kenya, known for its incredible density and variety of animals. It is situated 270 km north of Nairobi in Kenya, occupying a total area of 1,510 km². There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya. The Maasai are an initial and local group of semi-nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania.
Maasai Mara National Park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park is home to over a million animals, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and hippos, as well as 600 species of birds and 60 species of raptors, all in different colors.
Wildebeest traverse their plains during their annual migration from Serengeti National Park during July, August and October. The landscape features grassy plains and rolling hills, and the Mara and Talek rivers cross it.
