Saruni Wild Camp is the smallest intimate luxury accommodation found in the heart of the famous Masai Mara National Park, bordering the Lemek Conservancy (a wild and scenic area with a huge wealth of wildlife) and the Mara North Conservancy in Kenya. The camp is in remote areas, and it has recently relocated to the center, in the heart of the Mara ecosystem.
How to get there.
It takes approximately a 4-5 hour drive from Nairobi city to the Camp and 50 minutes to fly from Nairobi to the close Mara North airstrip, then 10 minutes to be transferred to the camp.
The camp is convenient and affordable for tourists who want to explore the park’s beautiful views, wildlife, and surrounding areas.
About Saruni Wild Camp
Saruni wild camp is comprised of only 3 spacious and comfortable en-suite tents, of which 1 is a family tent and 2 are classic doubles with the view of the wilderness reflecting the traditional building style.
-All tents are elevated ,decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, bathrooms with hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, free toiletries, chairs and tables, complementary bottled water, slippers in the rooms, white curtains and duvets, etc.
– All tents have sitting areas and verandas with a vintage view of the wilderness; you relax while enjoying the spectacular view of the surrounding area.
-Tents are equipped with comfortable, clean bedding, including king and queen-sized beds, single beds for individuals, double beds for sharing, and family accommodations as mentioned above.
– There are campfires where the fire glows and comfortable chairs are provided; guests relax and share stories and experiences about Kenya wildlife safaris while enjoying the warmth, especially in chilly weather.

A restaurant in the main building serves delicious international and local meals that satisfy guests’ appetites and can be enjoyed in your choice of location: in the sitting areas, in the bush (bush breakfast and dinner) overlooking the stars, or in the dining area overlooking the wilderness. The well-trained, friendly, and organized staff serve buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
A well-stocked bar with drinks, both hard and soft drinks. You sip your drink of choice by the campfire, overlooking the wilderness and the animals that come around since the camp is not fenced.

About Maasai Mara National Reserve
Masaai Mara National Park is one of the largest and most visited parks in Kenya, located 270 km north of Nairobi and covering a total area of 1,510 km². There are many, over 1 million tribes in Kenya. The Maasai are an initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania.
Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border.

The park contains over a million animals, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and hippos; 600 species of birds; and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeests traverse their plains during their annual migration from Serengeti National Park in July, August, and October. The Mara and Talek rivers cross the landscape, which features grassy plains and rolling hills.
