Soroi Mara Bush Camp is a mid-range accommodation found along the Olarok River in the heart of the Masai Mara National Park region of Kenya. The camp is located a few minutes away from the Ol-Kiombo airstrip in the pristine area surrounded by wilderness.

You can be at the camp by road or air transport, taking approximately a 5-6 hour (250 km) drive from Nairobi city center to Masai Mara National Park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close Ol-Kiombo airstrip, then a few minutes’ drive to be transferred to the camp.

The camp is convenient for safari adventures for tourists and travelers who want to explore the park with its beautiful views, wildlife and surrounding areas.

Soroi Mara Bush Camp consists of 12 spacious and comfortable luxury tents overlooking the wilderness, reflecting traditional building styles. Each tent is well elevated, decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, safari-style hot and cold showers, dressing mirrors, mosquito nets, televisions, air conditioning, deck chairs, work decks, wooden tables, free bottled water in the tents and many others.

Each tent has a sitting area, Private verandas and a vanity deck that give a better view of the wilderness roaming around the lodge and surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with comfortable, clean bedding containing queen-sized beds.

There are fireplaces at the camp where guests relax and share stories about Kenya safaris; they also provide warmth to visitors during cold nights. The camp offers tents suitable for families as well as individuals with single beds, double beds, twins for sharing and triple beds. They cost $200 per night and above; during high season, the rate is always higher than in the low season rate.

A dining area in the main canvas structure serves different meals, both international (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) and Kenyan cuisine, to meet guests’ choices: English breakfast, picnic lunch and  dinners (both indoor and outdoor dinners) served by well-trained, friendly and organized staff. They also serve bush dinners overlooking the stars in the sky.

A well-stocked bar with a variety of refreshments, both local cocktails, wines, spirits and international beers, allows you to relax and sip the cocktail while overlooking the breathtaking views over the Mara wilderness and surrounding area.

Masai Mara National Park is among the largest and most visited parks in Kenya, known for its incredible density and variety of animals. It is situated 270 km north of Nairobi in Kenya, occupying the total area of 1,510 km².

There are many, over 1 million tribes in Kenya. The Maasai are an indigenous and local group of semi-nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National Park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border.

The park contains over a million animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of birds and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse their plains during their annual migration from Serengeti National Park during July, August and October.
