Greenwood safari camp is a mid -range accommodation found in Talek , close to Talek gate and River in the famous masaai Mara National park Kenya. The camp is close to Talek Bush amp just 5 minutes’ walk and Hippo pool view point. You can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center to Masaai mara national park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close ol kiombo airstrip then few minutes to be transferred to the camp. The camp is convenient and business friendly to tourists, travellers who want to explore the park with its beautiful view of Talek River, mara plains, wildlife drinking water at the river and surrounding areas.
Greenwood safari camp consists of over 8 spacious and comfortable tents raised on a wooden deck overlooking the Mara Plains , River reflecting traditional building styles with modern comfort. There is also campsite with tents for hire for camp lovers. Each tent is well elevated, decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, safari style hot and cold showers, dressing tables, mosquito nets, Televisions, Air conditioning, Deck chairs and n Tables, free toiletries, Free bottled water in the tents and many others. Each tent has a sitting areas, Private verandas and vanity deck that give a better view over Mara Plains wildlife roaming around river and surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with comfortable clean beddings containing queen sized beds. There is fireplaces at the camp where guests relax and share stories about safaris; it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. The camp offers tents suitable for family as well as individuals with single bed and double beds/ twin for sharing . They cost 200$ per night and above, during high season rate is always high than in low season rated

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
