Day 1: Maasai Mara National Reserve
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and embark on a journey to Maasai Mara National Park, one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still live comparatively undisturbed, in huge numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa.
Situated on the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular season migration of over 2 million wildebeests and thousands of gazelles and zebras and the attendant predators that always follow.
You will arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive, exploring the reserve and spotting several animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, gazelles, cheetahs and giraffes among others.

Day 2-3: Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, we will head to Maasai Mara National Reserve for a full day game drive with packed and lunch provided. Maasai Mara is renowned for its black-manned lions as well as its abundant resident wildlife. The reserve is also one of the few places where it is possible to see all the Big Five members during the game drives.
From the comfort of your safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, you will enjoy clear views of several animals including lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, cheetahs, warthogs, wildebeests, zebras and over 500 species of birds recorded, including Kori bustards, African fish eagle, Hamerkop,, speckled mousebird, Lilac-breasted roller among others. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or campsite.

Day 4: From Maasai Mara to Serengeti
You will have breakfast, then head to Maasai Mara for a morning game drive as you drive out of the reserve. Cross over to Tanzania at Isebania Border and after clearing the immigration authorities, you will drive to Serengeti National Park.
Along the way, there is an option to stop at the famous Olduvai Gorge, where Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey made their discovery of the first man that walked the earth. After being lectured about the archaeological digs and geology of the gorge, you will have time to visit the small museum.
Continue to your lodge for check in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5-6: Serengeti National Park
You will spend two full days in Serengeti, the schedule is flexible and unlimited giving you enough time to explore the endless plains of Serengeti, spreading out before you, as far as the eyes can see.
The name Serengeti means “endless plains” in Kiswahili. This 6,900 sq miles (18,000 square kilometers) park is home to more than 2 million large animals including more than a million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles and large predators including lions, cheetahs and hyenas that are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey which migrates through the park.
Many small animals like rock hyrax, bat-eared fox, mongoose, honey badger, jackal, monkey, baboon and African hare also inhabit the area along with nearly 500 species of birds. In the afternoon, you will have a game drive en-route to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro
Today, you will wake up early and head to the park for an early morning game drive when the animals are more active and see the most stunning sunrise you will ever witness. After the game drive, we will return to your lodge for lunch and then proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th Wonder of the Natural World.
Ngorongoro Crater spreads for 102 square miles and has 2,000 ft high walls, making it virtually Noah’s ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that are indigenous to East Africa. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the very rare locations in Africa where you an witness the endangered rhinos.
In the corner of Ngorongoro Crater, there is a soda lake – Lake Magadi with a great concentration of flamingoes. During the game drive, you will realize why Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. Arrive in time for a sundowner, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater
Start very early and head to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning game viewing in one of the most stunning places on earth. Explore the crater floor and spot several animals including all the big five members, lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos and leopard. Other animals to lookout for include giraffes, cheetahs, wildebeests, elands, antelopes, warthogs, zebras, Africa wild dogs, and several bird species.
Enjoy lunch at a picnic site near the beautiful hippo lake, then have time for a short game drive and then ascend the crater and exit Ngorongoro Conservation Area and embark on a journey to Arusha. Expect to arrive by around 5:00 pm, your driver guide will drop you off either at the airport or at your hotel bringing your safari to an end.
