Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Volcanoes national park
Kigali to volcanoes national park: On the very 1st day of your 3 days Gorilla trekking Rwanda safari, you will be met by our company representative who will be available to meet and pick you up from you communicated location in Kigali Rwanda be it at the airport or at a home. Meet and greet as he briefs you about your 3 days adventure in the wilderness of mountain gorillas in Rwanda. You will then embark on a driving journey to Volcanoes national park with an enroute stopover at the park headquarters of Volcanoes national park to pick up your gorilla trekking permits before connecting to your reserved lodge where you will check in your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner and night rest.

Day 2: Mountain gorilla trekking in volcanoes national park
Mountain gorilla trekking in Volcanoes national park: On the 2nd day of your 3 days Gorilla trekking Rwanda safari, you need to arise early in the morning for breakfast at your lodge and be driven to the park headquarters for briefing. After briefing, you will be grouped into different groups of 8 persons which is the maximum number of trekkers per gorilla family and each trekkers has to be 15 years of age below which you are considered a minor. You will then be led by the ranger to the allocated gorilla family. This takes about 1-7 hours depending on the movement of the slowest person in the group and the movement of gorillas. You will then spend only 1 hour with gorillas. Remember to follow all the gorilla trekking rules and regulations such as keeping a social distance of about 15m, No using the flashlight while capturing photographs, no littering the park, No making noise while in the habitat of gorillas and many more. After spending one hour with the gorillas, you will exit the forest and return to your lodge. You may choose to spend your evening at leisure or have an optional cultural visit to Ibyiwacu cultural center or have a guided walk to the twin lakes of Burela and Ruhondo.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kigali – city tour and departures
Volcanoes national park back to Kigali: Enjoy your relaxed breakfast at your lodge on the very last day of 3 days Gorilla trekking Rwanda safari after which you will check out of the lodge and embark on a drive from Volcanoes national park back to Kigali. Depending on your flight time, you may enjoy a stunning Kigali city tour to explore the Genocide memorial sites, market centers, craft shops and many more. You will then be dropped off at your designated drop-off point be it at a hotel or at the airport.
