DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala/ Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
Transfer from Kampala/ Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable national park: On the very first day of your 7 days Uganda Gorilla Trekking, Chimpanzee trekking & Wildlife safari, you will be welcomed or picked up from your location in Kampala or Entebbe, Meet and greet and later on set off on a long drive taking about 8-9 hours through scenic views of the countryside as you head to the western part of Uganda the pearl of Africa. You have over at the equator where several tourists heading to southwestern part of Uganda usually stop to enjoy a memorable photo taking session along the North and South pole otherwise you may choose to stop there on the last day of your safari.
Well, you will then continue to Mbarara city one of the best cities in Western Uganda where you will enjoy your enroute lunch. After lunch, our journey continues to your finally destination, Bwindi Impenetrable national park arriving late in the evening for hotel check in, dinner and overnight sleep at Buhoma community Rest camp (Budget)/ Buhoma Haven Lodge (Midrange) and Buhoma lodge (Luxury) or any other equivalent accommodations depending on the sector one wishes to trek Mountain gorillas the next day.

Day 2: Uganda Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable national park
Uganda gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable national park: day 2 is a long awaited day of your 7 days Uganda Gorilla Trekking, Chimpanzee trekking & Wildlife safari. Well, arise early for morning breakfast which should be the first thing to think of on this special day before meeting your Uganda safari driver for a transfer to the park headquarters where briefing is conducted by experienced rangers. During the briefing, endeavor to listen carefully about the gorilla trekking dos and don’ts to avoid messing up while in the jungle amidst mountain gorillas. After briefing, you will be categorized into various groups depending of the age sometimes, physical fitness level and many more and finally penetrate into the impenetrable forest for about 1-8 hours which is usually the estimated gorilla trekking time. It’s an awesome and life time experience the moment you get closer to our cousins always led and protected by a dormant silverback. You will watch these gorillas play, feed, breastfeed, copulate and many more offering you a memorable experience. You have just one hour of interaction at 15M away from these gorillas in their nature habitats in the wilderness of Bwindi Impenetrable forest. Once an hour elapse, return to the park headquarters, obtain your gorilla trekking certificate and return to your lodge.
In the evening you have an optional batwa experience (let us know whether you wish to meet these special Batwa people that inhabited the forest before they were forced out to gazette it into a national park). Dinner and overnight will as above.

Day 3: Drive from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth national park
Drive from Bwindi Impenetrable national park to Queen Elizabeth national park: Enjoy your breakfast at your lodge on day 3 of 7 days Uganda Gorilla Trekking, Chimpanzee trekking & Wildlife safari then meet your driver to start the journey to the home of tree climbing lions and the kazinga channel. Along your journey, you will enjoy an enroute game drive in the Ishasha sector which is famous for harboring tree climbing lions. After the game drive in Ishasha sector, you will proceed to check in your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Morning game drive and Boat cruise
Full day adventure in Queen Elizabeth national park: Arise early for a game drive after having your breakfast. On day 4 of 7 days Uganda Gorilla Trekking, Chimpanzee trekking & Wildlife safari, you will enjoy an early morning game drive in the kasenyi plains which is the best savanna part of this park that harbors plenty of wildlife species seen on a game drive. Look out for Elephants, warthogs, Buffaloes and many more. After the game drive, you will return for lunch at your lodge and spend your afternoon on a boat ride along the Kazinga channel to watch Hippos, Water birds and many other animals along the shores of the kazinga channel. Day 5: Lion tracking experience in Queen and transfer to Kibale forest national park
Lion tracking experience and transfer to Kibale: After breakfast on day 5 of 7 days Uganda Gorilla Trekking, Chimpanzee trekking & Wildlife safari, head out for lion tracking experience which enables you to encounter with the King of the jungle closely. This is one of the most fascinating tourist activity carried out only in Queen Elizabeth national park of all parks in Uganda. After this experience, you will have lunch at the lodge, freshen up and then check out and set off on a journey to Kibale forest national park a primate wonder of the world. Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge, have dinner and grab a night rest.

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi nature walk
Chimpanzee trekking and nature walk: On the 6th day of 7 days Uganda Gorilla Trekking, Chimpanzee trekking & Wildlife safari, arise from the comfort of your bed early in the morning, have breakfast and be transferred to the park headquarters at Kanyanchu for briefing before embarking on a thrilling forest walk in search of the Chimpanzees that have been habituated and used to humans. You will be briefed be briefed about the dos and don’ts while in the habitat of the chimpanzees. Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest takes about 1-4 hours and upon finding these primates, you will spend only one hour in their vicinity taking photographs and closely interacting with the chimpanzees as they feed, play and many more. After all, you will exit the forest and return to your lodge for lunch.
Later in the afternoon, you will head to Bigodi wetland for a guided walk to watch more primates and birdlife that thrill in this wetland. You will then return to your lodge for dinner and grab a night rest.

Day 7: Drive to Kampala
Kibale forest national park to Kampala/ Entebbe: Today marks the end of this 7 days Uganda Gorilla Trekking, Chimpanzee trekking & Wildlife safari. Wake up early for breakfast then check out and be ready for a drive back to Kampala/ Entebbe. Lunch will be enjoyed enroute and upon Kampala/ Entebbe arrival, you will be dropped at your preferred destination either at a hotel or Entebbe International Airport.
