Detailed itinerary of 7 Days Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara and Amboseli Safari
Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
As you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or after breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, you will be picked up by our safari-driver guide and depart Nairobi for Lake Nakuru National Park – a birder’s haven and a home for black and white rhinos.
Arrive in the park in time for lunch at your lodge after checking in, in the afternoon you will go for a game drive. Expect to see black and white rhinos, lions, Rothschild giraffes, various antelope species and flamingoes along the shores of Lake Nakuru. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Park
After breakfast, you will depart from Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve. Drive through the Great Rift Valley floor and western escarpments.
Arrive in the reserve in time for lunch at your lodge and have a short rest, in the afternoon you will go for a game viewing experience driving through the rolling hills and the open plains of the reserve. Expect to spot a variety of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, elands, gazelles among others. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Dinner and Overnight at AA Mara Lodge or Mara Sentrim

Day 3 – 4: Masai Mara – Game drives
Spend these two days exploring Masai Mara National Reserve and its magnificent endless plains on full day game drive, catch a glimpse of Big Five animals like lions, elephants, elephants, cape buffaloes and rhinos and several bird species.
Maasai Mara national reserve hosts one of the world’s most spectacular drama that is The Great annual wildebeest migration happening between July to October, in this annual movement more than one million wildebeests and hundred thousands of zebras and gazelles migrate northward from the Serengeti to Maasai Mara national reserve. During the journey, these animals encounter dangers and hazards from predators – crossing the Mara River which is infested with Nile Crocodiles.
In the afternoon you can do an optional visit to the Masai Village where you will engage with the community members and learn local dances and culture of the Maasai Community. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Masai Mara – Amboseli
After breakfast, checkout of the lodge and embark on a journey to Amboseli National Park with en-route lunch. Arrive in the park in the afternoon, go for a game drive as you head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 – Full day in Amboseli
Have a full day game drive giving you the opportunity to find predators either hunting or feeding on their prey. Enjoy pick lunch at the observation offering 360 degrees views throughout the park with its arid areas, marshes and lakes, and on a clear day Mount Kilimanjaro. Lunch and time for relaxation or a swim in the pool. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 – Return to Nairobi
After breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge. Have a morning game drive giving you a last chance to get a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro and several animals, return to Nairobi where your guide will drop you off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.
