Detailed Itinerary of 8 Days Luxury Kenya Safari
Day 1: Arrive Nairobi, Kenya
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed by your personal Focus East Africa Tours Driver – Guide and transfer you to your hotel, have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Have early breakfast, meet your guide and embark on a journey to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, along the way you will cross the equator.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a private conservancy encompassing 90,000 acres of unspoiled African landscape where the Big Five – lion, elephants, rhinos, leopards and buffaloes roam freely. Arrive at your camp or lodge in time for lunch and relax in the comfort of your lodge.
In the afternoon, you will go for a game drive on which you will explore this rich-in wildlife reserve and home to the largest population of black rhinos in Kenya as well as the other members of the Big 5. There is plenty of unusual wildlife in the conservancy including elands, Grevy’s zebras among others.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, set out on a morning game drive. You will be treated to an up-close visit to the world’s last northern white rhino in their heavily guided enclosure. Return to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will return for another game drive on which you will see a number of animals including black rhinos, Grevy’s Zebras and reticulated giraffes.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Enjoy breakfast and head to the conservancy for a full day of adventure, there are several activities for you to do
- Take a guided bush walk accompanied by a ranger, getting up close to life in the African bush
- Interact with the dogs of an Anti-Poacher Unit, and test their skills as you hide and let them sniff you off
- Meet the neighbors community interaction and see firsthand the work the conservancy undertakes.
Later in the afternoon, head out on a game drive, followed by dinner in your camp.

Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, you will be driven to the airstrip for your morning flight to Masai Mara. It is a flight of approximately 1 hour, landing right in the heart of Masai Mara, an iconic reserve and a world famous safari destination. You will be picked up by your guide and go for a short game drive as you head to your lodge, this game drive will offer you the perfect introduction to the vast savannah plains and various wildlife species calling the reserve home.
Check in, have a short rest and lunch. In the afternoon you will return to the reserve for an afternoon game drive.

Day 6 -7: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Spend these two days exploring Masai Mara on game drives. You will have morning and afternoon game drives offering you the best wildlife sightings, as they are at their most active.
The grassy plains of Masai Mara are home to a wide range of wildlife species, from prides of lions to cheetahs stalking their prey and hippos wallowing in the muddy pools. There is never a dull moment in Masai Mara, during the heat of the day you will return to your camp for lunch before your afternoon game drive.
On day two, you will have a hot air balloon safari at an additional cost, offering you a unique perspective of Masai Mara’s landscape and enjoy aerial view of the wildlife at sunrise.

Day 8: Depart Nairobi
Today is your final day on your Kenya safari, after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your morning flight back to Nairobi. From here our guide will transfer you by a private vehicle to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight back home.
