Detailed itinerary of 9 Days Luxury Kenya Safari
Day 1: Nairobi
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi.
Depending on the time of your arrival, you will have a Nairobi City Tour visiting the Giraffe Center and Nairobi National Park giving you the best introduction to a Kenya Safari.
Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel
Day 2: Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, you will depart north via Nanyuki and Mount Kenya for the Samburu Game Reserve set in the rugged semi-arid northern region with spectacular scenic landscape. Arrival in time for lunch at your lodge, have a short rest and head for afternoon game viewing drive in the semi-arid plains of Samburu.
The Samburu region is the place to find the endemic Northern species including the Gerenuk (Twiga Gazelle), the Beisa Oryx, the Reticulated Giraffe, the Somali Ostrich and Gravy’s Zebra. During the game drive you will see other wildlife species, Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve
Have a full day game viewing experience in Samburu National Reserve, the verdant forest along the Ewaso Nyiro River is a stark contrast to the raid thorn studded plans. Packs of African Hunting Dogs are some of the animals you may see during your full day game viewing, your guide will carefully select an amazing site with a great scenic view where you will have your lunch from, before venturing into the bus once again. Lookout for the special Five of Samburu, other wildlife species and a large number of bird species.
Day 4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, then drive to Sweet waters in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. Later in the afternoon, you will go for a game drive in this unique game sanctuary. You will have a chance to visit the only Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Kenya situated inside the Conservancy.
Day 5: Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will checkout and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive will take you through the famous Thompson Falls and the Equator where you can stop for photos. Arrive in Lake Nakuru National Park in time for check-in at your lodge and lunch. Later go for an afternoon game viewing in the park.
Lake Nakuru National Park is named from Lake Nakuru, a shallow alkaline lake where flamingoes flock to. This lake offers one of the world’s most spectacular wildlife sight, of the brilliant pink flamingoes as far as the eye can see. When conditions are right, between one and two million lesser and greater flamingoes feed around the shores of the shallow soda lake, together with tens of thousands of other birds.
What is certain is that any visitor to Lake Nakuru National Park is likely to encounter flocks large enough to induce about awe. Over four hundred species of birds have been sighted at the park and its goes without saying that Lake Nakuru National Park is a bird watchers paradise.

Day 6: Masai Mara
After early breakfast at your lodge, you will be driven to Masai Mara, the famous game reserve in the world as well as Kenya. When you arrive in the reserve, you will head to your lodge for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon you will go for a game viewing giving you an introduction to Masai Mara safari, expect to see several wildlife species including lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, elands among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7-8: Masai Mara
Spend two full days exploring Masai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives
Masai Mara National Reserve is widely considered to be Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve and is the Jewel in Africa’s crown, the reserve is home to a spectacular array of wildlife and is composed of open savannah, woodlands and tree species.
The western border of the reserve is the spectacular Siria escarpment, dotted with acacia trees, creating scenery of stunning beauty. Here in the open savannah plains, you will see lions in abundance throughout the year, elephants, giraffes, zebras and a variety of Gazelle species.
Day 9: Departure
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge, checkout and embark on a journey back to Nairobi at leisure, you will have stopovers enroute for last minute shopping. Arrive in Nairobi for lunch and be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight back home.
