DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater- Tanzania

Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater: You safari will commence on the very 1^st day of your 10 days Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Bwindi safari (Tanzania, Kenya & Uganda) with a pick up either from a hotel or direct from the international Airport in Arusha. Meet our safari driver/ guide and greet then have a short briefing about your safari as you set off on a journey to Ngorongoro Conservation Area your 1^st destination for this 10 days combined East Africa safari. Ngorongoro Crater is known for having the largest caldera in the whole world making it one of the 7 wonders of the world.  Expect to arrive in time for lunch, proceed to check in your lodge for lunch and spend your afternoon on a game drive to spot animals like Cheetahs, Gazelles, Buffaloes, Wildebeests, Zebras, Rhinos, Elephants, Lions, Hyenas and many more. Later in the evening, head back to your lodge for dinner and grab a night rest.

Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti national park- Tanzania

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti national park: After your morning breakfast at your lodge on the 2^nd day of 10 days Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Bwindi safari (Tanzania, Kenya & Uganda), grab your packed lunch box and check out of the lodge, meet your Tanzania safari driver and descend into the crater for a half day adventure to spot more of the animals that call this crater their home after which you will exit the crater and set off of a drive to Serengeti national park. This park is known to be the wildlife capital in Africa harboring the big 5 game and many other animals. Serengeti national park is a great destination for tourists who wish to enjoy the annual wildebeest migration as calving season happens in Serengeti and as well the migration starts from here to Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Upon park arrival, you will  be welcomed on  a game drive spotting several animals like Zebras, Wildebeests, Elands, Cheetahs, Lions and several species of birds.

Day 3: Full day excursion in Serengeti national park- Tanzania

Full day game viewing in Serengeti national park: After breakfast on day 3 of 10 days Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Bwindi safari (Tanzania, Kenya & Uganda), grab you lunch box and meet your driver for an entire day exploring the plains of Serengeti national park. You will be able to spot plenty of park dwellers including the big 5 game, and many more. Lunch will be enjoyed under the shade as picnic lunch and later on in the evening, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and night rest as above. On this day, you may enjoy an optional hot air balloon safari in the morning.

Day 4: Cross over into Masai Mara National Reserve- Kenya

Serengeti national park to Masi Mara National Reserve: On the 4^th day of 10 days Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Bwindi safari (Tanzania, Kenya & Uganda), wake early for morning breakfast at your lodge after which you will check out of the lodge with an enroute game drive as you exit Serengeti national park Tanzania for Masai Mara National Reserve Kenya via Isebania where you will be cleared by immigration officers before proceeding into Kenya. While in Kenya, you will be welcomed by yet another experienced Kenya guide who will brief you about the your itinerary for the Kenyan side and take you to a hotel for a hot meal as you proceed your Journey to Masai Mara National Reserve a remarkable Kenya safari destination that offers great wildlife viewing in the endless plains of Kenya that harbor lots of wildlife. Being a full day drive, upon arrival, you will proceed to check in your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 5: Full day excursion in Masai Mara National Reserve – Kenya

Full day in Masi Mara National Reserve: Start your 5^th day of 10 days Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Bwindi safari (Tanzania, Kenya & Uganda) with breakfast then head to Mara plains for an entire day exploring the stunning landscape of Masai Mara National Reserve covered by endless plains and rolling hills. During the game drive, you will be rewarded with several animals including Wildebeests, Zebras, Elands, Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, and many more. After the morning game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch in case you never carried packed lunchbox. Later on proceed with an afternoon game drive to maximize sightings before the sun goes down.

Day 6: Transfer back to Nairobi – Kenya

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi: On the 6^th day of 10 days Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Bwindi safari (Tanzania, Kenya & Uganda), arise on another fascinating morning game drive in Masai Mara or opt for a hot air balloon to have an aerial view of the Masai Mara plains. After the morning game drive, return to your lodge for a late breakfast then check out and set off on a journey to Nairobi city with an enroute lunch in Narok town. Dinner and overnight stay in Nairobi city.

Day 7: Fly into Uganda the pearl of Africa – Uganda

Fly to Uganda the pearl of Africa: On the 7^th day of 10 days Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Bwindi safari (Tanzania, Kenya & Uganda), wake up at your hotel in Nairobi, have breakfast, then check out of the hotel and be driven to airport for a flight to Uganda the pearl of Africa. Upon landing at Entebbe international airport, you will be welcomed by our experienced safari driver/ guide in Uganda who will brief you about your Ugandans safari as you drive to your reserved hotel in Entebbe or Kampala where you will spend your night rest.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park- Uganda

Kampala- Entebbe to Bwindi: On the 8th day of 10 days Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Bwindi safari (Tanzania, Kenya & Uganda), you will enjoy your breakfast then check out of the hotel and set off on a long journey drive taking about 8-9 hours through scenic views of the countryside as you head to the western part of Uganda the pearl of Africa.  You have over at the equator where several tourists heading to southwestern part of Uganda usually stop to enjoy a memorable photo taking session along the North and South pole otherwise you may choose to stop there on the last day of your safari.

Well, you will then continue to Mbarara city one of the best cities in Western Uganda where you will enjoy your enroute lunch. After lunch, our journey continues to your finally destination, Bwindi Impenetrable national park arriving late in the evening for hotel check in, dinner and overnight sleep at Buhoma community Rest camp (Budget)/ Buhoma Haven Lodge (Midrange) and Buhoma lodge (Luxury) or any other equivalent accommodations depending on the sector one wishes to trek Mountain gorillas the next day.

Day 9: Uganda Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable national park

Uganda gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable national park: day 9 is a long awaited day of our 10 days Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Bwindi safari (Tanzania, Kenya & Uganda). Well, arise early for morning breakfast which should be the first thing to think of on this special day before meeting your Uganda safari driver for a transfer to the park headquarters where briefing is conducted by experienced rangers. During the briefing, endeavor to listen carefully about the gorilla trekking dos and don’ts to avoid messing up while in the jungle amidst mountain gorillas.  After briefing, you will be categorized into various groups depending of the age sometimes, physical fitness level and many more and finally penetrate into the impenetrable forest for about 1-8 hours which is usually the estimated gorilla trekking time. It’s an awesome and life time experience the moment you get closer to our cousins always led and protected by a dormant silverback. You will watch these gorillas play, feed, breastfeed, copulate and many more offering you a memorable experience. You have just one hour of interaction at 15M away from these gorillas in their nature habitats in the wilderness of Bwindi Impenetrable forest. Once an hour elapse, return to the park headquarters, obtain your gorilla trekking certificate and return to your lodge.

In the evening you have an optional batwa experience (let us know whether you wish to meet these special Batwa people that inhabited the forest before they were forced out to gazette it into a national park). Dinner and overnight will as above.

Day 10: Drive from Bwindi back to Kampala/ Entebbe

Drive from Bwindi Impenetrable national park to Kampala/ Entebbe: Today marks the end of this 10 days Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Bwindi safari (Tanzania, Kenya & Uganda). Wake up early for breakfast then check out and be ready for yet another long drive back to Kampala/ Entebbe. Lunch will be enjoyed enroute in Mbarara city and upon Kampala/ Entebbe arrival, you will be dropped at your preferred destination either at a hotel or Entebbe International Airport.
