Day 1: pickup and transfer to Tsavo West national park
On the 1st day of 2 days Tsavo West safari, you will be picked up from the hotel in Nairobi or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our a representative of Focus East Africa Tours. After a short safari briefing you will embark on a journey to Tsavo West national park a paradise for the red elephants, Tsavo West national park is located in the coastal province of Kenya covering an area of 9,065 square kilometers.
Tsavo West national park is among the best wildlife destinations in Kenya and together with Tsavo East national park forms the largest protected area in Kenya “Tsavo national park”
On arrival, you will check into your lodge, have lunch and go for an afternoon game drive in the plains of Tsavo West national park, during the game drive you will enjoy watching animals such as lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, lesser kudus, wild dogs, elephants and many birds recorded to be over 600 species such as African finfoot, Basra reed warbler, Black-faced sandgrouse, Common whitethroat, Corncrake, Fischer’s starling, Golden pipit, Golden-breasted starling, Lesser kestrel, Marsh warbler, Martial eagle, Narina trogon, Northern brownbul, Pangani longclaw, Red-backed shrike, Red-bellied parrot, River warbler, Rufous chatterer, Shelley’s starling, Slender-tailed nightjar and many more. On the same game drive you will have an opportunity to visit Mzima springs which is an oasis of clear water and a home to hippos and crocodiles.
Later return to your lodge, have diner and stay overnight.
In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: morning game drive and transfer back to Nairobi
On the 2nd and last day of 2 days Tsavo West safari, have early breakfast and head to the park for the last game drive searching for early risers such as lions, rhinos, wild dogs, elephants among others calling the park home. During the game drive, you will visit the Rhino Sanctuary which is found inside the park. later exit the park and embark on a journey back to Nairobi where you will have lunch upon arrival and later be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home or to your next adventure.
