Detailed itinerary of 3 Days Samburu Camping Safari
Day 1: pick up and transfer to Samburu national park
On the 1st day of 3 Days Samburu Camping Safari you will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi by your safari driver, after a short safari briefing you will embark on a journey to Samburu national reserve. On your way you will enjoy views of the locals doing their daily activities and when you arrive in the reserve you will check into your lodge, have lunch and in the afternoon you will go for an afternoon game drive. On the game drive you will enjoy sights of the rugged landscape of the park and many animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, cape buffaloes and many more. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your camp.

Day 2: full day of adventure in Samburu national reserve
On the 2nd day of 3 Days Samburu Camping Safari you will spend the whole exploring Samburu national reserve on game drives that is morning and afternoon game drives, after early morning breakfast you will meet your safari driver and after a short safari briefing you will head to park. While in Samburu national park you will do a morning game drive on which you will enjoy viewing many animals such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, beisa Oryx, olive baboon, warthogs, Grant’s gazelle, Kirk’s dik-dik, impala, waterbuck, black rhinoceros, African leopard, lion, cheetah, Cape buffalo and many more. After the drive you will head back to your camp for lunch then after lunch you will head back to the reserve for an afternoon game drive. On your full day in Samburu national reserve you will also spot many bird species such as grey-headed kingfisher, sunbirds, bee-eaters, Marabou stork, tawny eagle, Verreaux’s eagle, Bateleur, vulturine Guineafowl, yellow-necked Spurfowl, lilac-breasted roller, secretary bird and many more. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your camp.
Day 3: Depart for Nairobi
On the 3rd day of 3 Days Samburu Camping Safari you will wake up early and head to the park for an early morning game drive, early morning game drive is perfect for spotting early risers such as leopards, cheetah, lion and many early birds which you will hear singing. After the game drive you will head back to your lodge, have later breakfast then checkout and embark on a journey back to Nairobi. Upon your arrival in Nairobi, you will have lunch and then be dropped off at the airport for your departure flight.
