Detailed itinerary

Day 1: transfer from Nairobi to Maasai Mara

On the first day of 4 days Masai Mara wildebeest migration safari you will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi then head to Masai Mara national reserve arriving in afternoon time for lunch which you will have after checking into your lodge.

Masai Mara national reserve is one of the finest wildlife viewing destinations in the world hosting a variety of wildlife species both migratory and resident species. When you arrive in the reserve you will check into your lodge, have lunch and in the afternoon you will head to Mara plains for a game drive and you should lookout for animals like leopards, lions, hartebeests, gazelles and many more. After the expedition you will head back to your lode, have dinner and stay overnight.

Days 2: full day in Maasai Mara

On the second day of 4 days Masai Mara wildebeest migration safari you will leave your lodge after breakfast and head to the reserve where you are to spend a full day watching the great wildebeest migration and other animals with picnic lunch. The migrating herds (zebras, wildebeests, elands, Thomson and grant’s gazelles) taking part Wildebeest migration are present in Mara plains from July, August to September. Apart from watching the migrating herds you will also spit many other animals such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes and many more. You will have lunch in picnic style set at any point on the banks of Mara River which is the point where the dramatic and dealt river crossing takes place. You will then return to your lodge have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: full day in Maasai Mara

On the 3rd of the Masai Mara wildebeest migration safari you will head to Masai Mara national reserves for another full day of searching for the migrating herds and explore the reserve. On this day you will more animals you didn’t see on the previous you were in the reserve and if you did watch the wildebeest migration hopefully you will see it today. You can decide to drive back to your lodge for lunch or have another picnic lunch like yesterday, at the end of this amazing day of exploring Masai Mara national reserve you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: transfer from Maasai Mara back to Nairobi

On the 4th and last day of 4 days Masai Mara wildebeest migration safari you will wake up early in the morning and head to the reserve for an early morning game drive searching for animals like leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, African elephants, wildebeest, zebras ,waterbucks, cheetahs, leopards and many more. Then you will return to your lodge, have breakfast, checkout and embark on a journey back to Nairobi with en-route lunch on your arrival you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport.
