Detailed itinerary of the safari
Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha
On the 1st day of the 5 days Kenya birding safari you will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi and then transfer to Lake Naivasha arriving by mid-morning, Lake Naivasha is a tranquil birding destination in Kenya hosting over 450recorded bird species. When you arrive, you will head for birding experience on which you will sights of many animals such as Pink Backed Pelicans, Herons, colourful Kingfishers and Fish Eagle, the Goliath Heron, Jacana, Great White Egret, White Fronted Bee-eater, the Saddle- billed Stork and many more. In the middle of the birding experience, you will have a break for lunch and in the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: transfer to Lake Nakuru
On the 2nd day of the 5 days Kenya birding safari you are to transfer to Lake Nakuru, after early morning breakfast you will checkout of your lodge and embark on a drive to Lake Nakuru a very fascination Kenya birding destination. You are to arrive at Lake Nakuru by midmorning then embark on a birding experience, Lake Nakuru is a remarkable Kenya birding site famous for habiting millions of pink flamingoes which crowd the shores of the lake. On the birding experience in Lake Nakuru you will enjoy sights of many animals such as lesser and greater flamingoes, African fish eagle, tawny eagle, green wood hoopoes, great white, pink backed pelicans and many more. In the evening you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: bird experience and transfer to Masai Mara national reserve
On the 3rd of the 5 days Kenya birding safari you are to have a morning birding experience and then transfer to Masai Mara national reserve, as early as 6:00 am you will head to the Lake Nakuru national park for another birding experience. On this experience you will enjoy various species of birds such as the pink greater and lesser flamingoes at the shores of the lake, pelicans, Abyssinian thrush, Arrow-marked babbler, Bateleur, Black-tailed godwit, Black-winged lapwing, Brimstone canary, Brown-backed scrub robin, Crab-plover, Eastern imperial eagle, European roller, Grey crowned crane and many more. Day 4: full day in Masai Mara national reserve
On the 4th day of the 5 days Kenya birding safari you are to have a full day of bird watching in Masai Mara national reserve, after early morning breakfast you will head to the plains of Masai Mara national reserve for a spectacular bird watching experience. In the park you will have be briefed about the experience and with your binoculars and camera you will head for looking for birds, Masai Mara national reserve is a great Kenya birding destination habiting over 400 bird species. While on birding in Masai Mara national reserve you will enjoy sights of many animals such as white tipped crests, Ross Turacos, orange buffs, Pel’s fishing owl, wary guinea fowl, long crested eagles, pygmy falcons, red winged schalows Turacos and many more. At lunch you will either have picnic lunch or drive back to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will return for another birding experience.
Day 5: transfer back to Nairobi
On the 5th day of the 5 days Kenya birding safari you are to transfer back to Nairobi, after your last breakfast meal at your lodge, you will meet your safari driver, checkout and embark on your drive back to Nairobi. On your way to Nairobi you will have lunch and when you arrive in Nairobi you will be dropped off either at your hotel residence or Jomo Kenyatta international airport for your departure flight back home.
