Detailed itinerary of 6 days Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha safari
Day 1: arrival in Nairobi
Upon your arrival in Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International airport , you will be warmly welcomed by your safari-driver guide and a representative of our company, after a short safari briefing you will transfer to your hotel in Nairobi. If you have time you will go for a short city visiting the National Museum, Sheldrick Trust and many more sites. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 2: transfer to Lake Nakuru national park
Soon after your breakfast at your hotel, you will checkout and together with your driver-guide you will leave Nairobi and embark on a journey to Lake Nakuru national park a famous destination for hosting millions of flamingoes on the shores of Lake Nakuru and rhinos found in the rhino sanctuary in the park. On your way to the park you will pass through the Great Rift Valley where you will enjoy views of the beautiful escarpments with a brief stopover at the view point where you can take magnificent pictures. You will also have another brief stopover for at the crafts shop for souvenir shopping then proceed to the park arriving in time for lunch which you will have at your lodge after checking in.
After lunch you will head out to the park for an afternoon game drive, on the game drive you will enjoy watching many animals such as black and white rhinos, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, gazelles and many more. During the game drive you will have a stopover at Lake Nakuru to watch millions of flamingoes, after the experience you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Maasai Mara national reserve
After morning breakfast at your lodge, you will checkout and go for an en-route game drive while leaving Lake Nakuru national park heading to Maasai Mara national reserve. On your way you will pass through the Narok Town where you will enjoy the Maasai traditions through interacting with the locals, buy beautiful craft pieces then proceed to the park arriving in lunch time. Check into your lodge, have lunch and then proceed to the Maasai village for a cultural experience where you will enjoy and learn more about the Maasai lifestyle including visiting the Manyattas – Maasai traditional huts locally known, be entertained by local dances and drama and many more activities. in the evening you will head back to the lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: full day in Maasai Mara national reserve
Have early morning breakfast, then head to the reserve for a full day of exploring together with your packed lunch, on this day you will do both morning and afternoon game drive giving you ample time to explore the reserve. On these game drives you will watch many animals such as lions, cheetahs, zebras, leopards, antelopes, Maasai giraffes, rhinos, buffaloes, wildebeests, gazelles and Nile crocodiles at the banks of Mara River. You will have a break for lunch set at a picnic site in the wilderness of the reserve then go for another game drive. at the end of the full day experience you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 5: morning game drive and transfer to Lake Naivasha
Wake up early for a cup of coffee and head to the park for a morning game drive in the wilderness of Maasai Mara till 0900 hours then drive back to your lodge for a full breakfast, then checkout and embark on a drive to Lake Naivasha arriving in lunch time which you will have after checking into your lodge. In the afternoon you will go visit Lake Naivasha found in the floor of the Great Rift Valley, the lake is a habitat to various species of birds found its shores such as pelicans, cormorants, fish eagles and many more. You will go for a boat ride on which you will enjoy the cool breeze of the lake and watch many birds on the shores of the lake. After the experience you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 6: transfer back to Nairobi
Have morning breakfast at your lodge, then checkout and head on a drive back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your departure flight back home.
