DETAILED ITINERARY OF 6 DAYS UGANDA CHIMPANZEE AND WILDLIFE SAFARI
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
To mark the start of your 6 days Uganda chimpanzee and wildlife safari you will be picked from your hotel in Kampala by your safari driver-guide after breakfast, then drive to Kibale Forest national park famously known as a primate capital of the world due to high concentration of primates in the forests. On your journey you will enjoy the scenic countryside, road side markets and plantations, you will have a stopover for lunch in Fort portal Uganda’s tourism capital due to its beautiful landscape and various attractions. Arrive in the park in the evening, check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
Have early breakfast, meet your safari driver and head to the park’s headquarters for briefing about chimpanzee trekking where a ranger takes you through the right way to behave while in the presence of chimpanzees then be divided into groups and trek into the forests of Kibale looking for chimpanzees. When approaching where they are, you will hear their voices on tree tops, while in their presence you will watch them play on tree branches, pick fruits and leaves they eat as food and have a chance to take pictures. After the experience you will head back to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will go for a Bigodi swamp walk, Bigodi swamp is an amazing bird and primate watching site and while in the walk in this swamp you will watch olive baboons, black and white colobus monkey, chimpanzees and birds such as herons, secretary birds among others. After the experience you will return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast you will checkout of your lodge and start on a journey to Queen Elizabeth national park , on your way you will pass through the crater lakes region and enjoy views of the mystical Rwenzori Mountain ranges. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge and in the afternoon you will go for an afternoon game drive spotting animals such as lions, elephants, antelopes, bush pigs, oribis, buffaloes and others. After the experience you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: Game drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth national park
Have breakfast and head to Queen Elizabeth national park a host to the highest biodiversity in East Africa for a morning game drive, game drives in this amazing park are usually conducted in the Kasenyi plains and during the game drive you will spot animals such as leopards, buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, bush pigs, Uganda kobs among others. You will also enjoy the scenic views of the backdrop of Rwenzori Mountains, after the experience you will return to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will return for a boat cruise at Kazinga channel a natural channel connecting Lake Edward to Lake George. On the boat cruise you will have opportunities of watching animals such as elephants, buffaloes and hippos drinking water or taking a bath, Nile crocodiles and many birds such as shoe bill, herons, fly catcher and others. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Have breakfast, checkout and start your journey to Lake Mburo National park found in Mbarara, the park is the smallest savannah park in Uganda and a home to a huge population of zebras and other animals such as antelopes, warthogs, lions, leopards, rhinos among others. When you arrive in the park you will have lunch at your lodge and head to the park for boat trip in Lake Mburo the largest lake among the chain of lakes found in the park. On the boat trip you will watch a number of animals, birds and scenic rolling hills. In the evening you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: morning game drive and transfer
Today marks the end of your 6 days Uganda Chimpanzee and Wildlife safari, wake up for a cup of coffee and head to the park for an early morning game drive watching a number of early risers such as lions, leopards, hyenas, hippos among others. After the game drive you will have late breakfast, checkout and embark on a journey to Kampala with a stopover at the Equator monument for photos, purchase souvenirs and have lunch. When you arrive in Kampala you will be drop off at the hotel or at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight back home.
