Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Serengeti national park- Tanzania
Arusha to Serengeti national park: After your morning breakfast at your lodge on the 1st day of 8 days Masai Mara, Serengeti & Virunga Safari (Kenya, Tanzania & DRCongo), you will be met by your Tanzania safari driver who will brief you about this 8 days adventure in Tanzania, Kenya and DRCongo as you set off on a journey from Arusha to Serengeti national park. This park is known to be the wildlife capital in Africa harboring the big 5 game and many other animals. Serengeti national park is a great destination for tourists who wish to enjoy the annual wildebeest migration as calving season happens in Serengeti and as well the migration starts from here to Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Upon park arrival, you will be welcomed on a game drive spotting several animals like Zebras, Wildebeests, Elands, Cheetahs, Lions and several species of birds.

Day 2: Full day excursion in Serengeti national park- Tanzania
Full day game viewing in Serengeti national park: After breakfast on day 2 of 8 days Masai Mara, Serengeti & Virunga Safari (Kenya, Tanzania & DRCongo), grab you lunch box and meet your driver for an entire day exploring the plains of Serengeti national park. You will be able to spot plenty of park dwellers including the big 5 game, and many more. Lunch will be enjoyed under the shade as picnic lunch and later on in the evening, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and night rest as above. On this day, you may enjoy an optional hot air balloon safari in the morning.

Day 3: Cross over into Masai Mara National Reserve- Kenya
Serengeti national park to Masi Mara National Reserve: On the 3th day of 8 days Masai Mara, Serengeti & Virunga Safari (Kenya, Tanzania & DRCongo), wake early for morning breakfast at your lodge after which you will check out of the lodge with an enroute game drive as you exit Serengeti national park Tanzania for Masai Mara National Reserve Kenya via Isebania where you will be cleared by immigration officers before proceeding into Kenya. While in Kenya, you will be welcomed by yet another experienced Kenya guide who will brief you about the your itinerary for the Kenyan side and take you to a hotel for a hot meal as you proceed your Journey to Masai Mara National Reserve a remarkable Kenya safari destination that offers great wildlife viewing in the endless plains of Kenya that harbor lots of wildlife. Being a full day drive, upon arrival, you will proceed to check in your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 4: Full day excursion in Masai Mara National Reserve – Kenya
Full day in Masi Mara National Reserve: Start your 4th day of 8 days Masai Mara, Serengeti & Virunga Safari (Kenya, Tanzania & DRCongo) with breakfast then head to Mara plains for an entire day exploring the stunning landscape of Masai Mara National Reserve covered by endless plains and rolling hills. During the game drive, you will be rewarded with several animals including Wildebeests, Zebras, Elands, Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, and many more. After the morning game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch in case you never carried packed lunchbox. Later on proceed with an afternoon game drive to maximize sightings before the sun goes down.

Day 5: Transfer back to Nairobi – Kenya
Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi: On the 5th day of 8 days Masai Mara, Serengeti & Virunga Safari (Kenya, Tanzania & DRCongo), arise on another fascinating morning game drive in Masai Mara or opt for a hot air balloon to have an aerial view of the Masai Mara plains. After the morning game drive, return to your lodge for a late breakfast then check out and set off on a journey to Nairobi city with an enroute lunch in Narok town. Dinner and overnight stay in Nairobi city.

Day 6: Fly into Kigali Rwanda- Virunga national park Congo
Nairobi to Kigali to Virunga national park Congo: Have your early morning breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi on day 6 of 8 days Masai Mara, Serengeti & Virunga Safari (Kenya, Tanzania & DRCongo) after which you will be driven to the airport to catch a flight to Kigali Rwanda where you will be met by our experienced safari driver/ guide who will then take you through briefing about this remaining safari as you set off on a drive to Goma via Gisenyi which is a Rwanda Congo Border. While in Gisenyi, you will be cleared, and kindly remember to re-apply for a Rwanda Visa as you will need it while returning from Congo to Rwanda. You will then cross over through Grande barrier into Goma where you will enjoy your enroute lunch. Proceed to obtain your gorilla trekking permit and finally be transferred to your lodge for dinner and night rest at Bukima Tented Camp (Budget), Kibumba Tented Camp (Mid-range), and Mikeno lodge (Luxury).

Day 7: Mountain gorilla trekking in Virunga national park Congo
Gorilla trekking in Virunga national park Congo: On the 7th day of 8 days Masai Mara, Serengeti & Virunga Safari (Kenya, Tanzania & DRCongo), you will be required to arise early in the morning, have breakfast and meet your safari driver for a transfer to the park headquarters to attend briefing with other trekkers. Briefing is conducted at Bukima police patrol and all trekkers are supposed to arrive their very early to participate in briefing before embarking on the forest walk to search for the gorillas in their habitat.
After briefing, you will be grouped into different groups of 8 persons which is the maximum number of trekkers per gorilla family and each trekkers has to be aged 15 years of age and above below which you are considered a minor. You will then be led by the ranger to the allocated gorilla family. The trek takes about 1-7 hours or even more depending on the movement of the slowest person in the group and the movement of gorillas. You will then spend only 1 hour with gorillas. Remember to follow all the gorilla trekking rules and regulations such as keeping a social distance as advised during briefing, No using the flashlight while capturing photographs, no littering the park, No making noise while in the habitat of gorillas and many more. After spending one hour with the gorillas, you will exit the forest and return to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight sleep as above at Bukima Tented Camp (Budget), Kibumba Tented Camp (Mid-range), and Mikeno lodge (Luxury)

Day 8: Transfer back to Kigali
Virunga national park Congo to Kigali Rwanda: On the 8th day which is your final day of this 8 days Masai Mara, Serengeti & Virunga Safari (Kenya, Tanzania & DRCongo), enjoy your relaxed breakfast at your lodge after which you will check out of the lodge and embark on a drive from Virunga national park back to Kigali Rwanda. Depending on your flight time, you may enjoy a stunning Kigali city tour to explore the Genocide memorial sites, market centers, craft shops and many more. You will then be dropped off at your designated drop-off point be it at a hotel or at the airport.
