Detailed Itinerary of 5 Days Best of Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Arrival, Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park, Game Drive, and Guided Walking Safari
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be picked up by our company representative and your driver-guide, who will brief you about the safari and then proceed to transfer you to Lake Manyara National Park.
On arrival in the park, you will enjoy a game drive, giving you an amazing introduction to the Tanzanian wildlife. After a picnic lunch, embark on a game drive and later a guided nature walk and get closer to the natural surroundings in the park, including animals like giraffes, elephants, zebras, among others. You will also see the beautiful views around the park and visit the beautiful Lake Manyara, where you will see flocks of flamingos on the shores as well as other bird species.
Later, you will go for a guided nature walk for a closer encounter with wildlife, including zebras and giraffes. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Drive to Serengeti National Park, Game Drive
Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge as you prepare for your transfer to Serengeti National Park.
After lunch at one of the picnic sites, you will engage in a late afternoon game drive as you search for wildlife species in the endless Savannah plains, such as the Big Five like elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos, among others. Also, enjoy the beautiful scenery, such as the Kopjes, where lions can be seen as they watch their prey. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will head out for a morning game viewing experience around the central region of Serengeti National Park, where you will search for wildlife species like lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, wildebeests, baboons, zebras, cheetahs, impalas, gazelles, kudu, rhinos, among others.
After enjoying your picnic lunch in the wilderness, you will engage in an afternoon game drive around the Serengeti plains as you look out for wildlife species and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Drive
After breakfast at your lodge, you will be driven to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. With your packed lunch boxes, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for amazing wildlife viewing opportunities and to enjoy the beautiful scenery, including the Big 5 – lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, elephants, and rhinos, as well as other animals like giraffes, zebras, warthogs, among others. After the game drive, you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Tarangire National Park Game Drive and Departure Later
Today is the last day of your 5 Days Best of Tanzania Safari. You shall enjoy breakfast at the lodge and, with your lunch boxes, drive to Tarangire National Park for an amazing half-day wild game viewing experience.
Tarangire National Park is famous for large herds of elephants and the landscape dotted with the iconic baobab trees. During the game drive, look out for other animals like zebras, giraffes, lions, and large herds of elephants, which Tarangire is famous for.
Enjoy lunch in the wilderness and another game viewing opportunity as you leave the park, driving back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at the hotel or at the airport to catch your flight back home or to your next destination.
