Detailed itinerary of 5 Days Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Pick up and drive to Tarangire National Park
You shall be picked up from the airport upon your arrival by your guide. He will welcome you to Tanzania, and brief you about the safari. Thereafter you shall proceed to transfer you to Tarangire National Park, which is known for large herds of elephants and also numerous bird species with your packed lunch.
Engage in a game drive in Tarangire national park and look out for different wildlife species such as elephants, buffalos, antelopes, zebras, lions, leopards among others. After the game drive you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full day Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
After having breakfast at your lodge, you will head out for a full day of exploring Tarangire National Park and its attractions as well as enjoying an amazing game viewing experiences as you drive around the baobab trees and savannah trees in the national park. You will see a variety of animals in the morning since they are very active at this time of day such as leopards, elephants, zebras, antelopes, elands, gazelles, lions among so many others you might have otherwise missed. Enjoy your picnic lunch in the park, and enjoy yet another game drive before proceeding to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Drive
Your breakfast will be served at your lodge ahead of your drive to Ngorongoro conservation area. You will enjoy a safari in Ngorongoro crater where you will visit the world’s largest in active caldera which is also home to numerous wildlife species such as such as the big 5 as well as wildebeests, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, antelopes, elands, impalas, gazelles, waterbucks, hartebeests among others.
During the safari, you will also descend about 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater. You will enjoy seeing attractions like Lake Magadi where you will see flamingos along the shores of the lake as well as hippos. After this experience, you will have dinner and spend the night at the lodge.

Day 4: Full day in Lake Manyara National Park, Walking Safari
After having breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to Lake Manyara national park which is home to the tree climbing lions and also elephants and other wildlife species.
You will also engage in a game drive and explore Lake Manyara national park, and enjoy seeing the diverse scenery of the national park. You will also look out for different wildlife species around the national park such as antelopes, gazelles, buffalos, leopards, waterbucks, monkeys, baboons among others as well as different bird species.
After your game drive, enjoy lunch, and later on get to embark on one of the most amazing activities, a guided walking safari. A walking safari in Lake Manyara brings you up-close with nature and wild life including zebras, antelopes, giraffes, among so many others. The walking safari is guided by park officials who are conversant with the par.
Return to the lodge thereafter, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Mto wa Mbu Cultural Tour, Departure
You will have a leisurely breakfast at the lodge and then proceed on a cultural tour in Mto wa Mbu where there are over 100 tribes in one are. Interact with the locals, and get to visit some craft shops for last minute souvenirs! Return for lunch at the lodge, and proceed to transfer back to Arusha. You shall be dropped off at the airport or hotel of stay in Arusha, bringing your safari to an end.
