Detailed itinerary of 6 Days Private Tanzania Luxury Safari
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Arusha you will be welcomed by your guide and drive to Tarangire National Park. It is a drive of approximately two-hours, as you enter the park you will start your game viewing adventure.
Tarangire National Park is home the largest herds of elephants in north of Tanzania, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, wildebeests and various antelopes and gazelles can be spotted here. The park’s landscape is made up of seasonal marshes and iconic Baobab trees.
After extensive game drives in the park, you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight stay at Namali Tarangire Camp
Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Karatu
After breakfast you will head out on another game drive in Tarangire National Park. During the dry season the Tarangire River is the only permanent source of water and the wildlife tends to concentrate in its vicinity. You will stop at one of the picnic spots for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will leave Tarangire behind. Passing through the multi-cultural town of Mto wa Mbu, the higher lands are soon reached and wonderful views of the Masai Plains and the Lake Manyara open up before you. After a stop for photos, you will make your way to the vegetation – rich crater highlands, head to your lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will drive into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and down into the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is home to almost all the species of animals found in the East Africa savannah, you will have a chance of spotting the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffaloes, rhinos and leopards.
After an extensive game drive, you will leave the highlands of Ngorongoro in the afternoon and continue to the Serengeti. Soon you will see the seemingly endless plains of the southern Serengeti and finally reach the Seronera Valley in the Central Serengeti. Head to your lodge for check-in, later have dinner and overnight.

Day 4-5: Serengeti National Park
Spend these two days exploring Serengeti National Park on game viewing experience, a highlight of your Serengeti Luxury Safari. Your guide will take you to the best spots to observe the wildlife. Some of the animals you will see include elephants, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, topis, gazelles and many more.
Especially in the Seronera Valley you will be able to experience fantastic game viewing all year round. Also, Serengeti National Park together with Masai Mara in Kenya is home to the largest animal migration on the planet.
Overnight stay at Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge
Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Arusha
After breakfast, you will head out on a last game drive in the early morning. Afterwards, your guide will take you to the airstrip to catch your small aircraft flight back to Arusha, where our guide will transfer you either to your hotel or to the airport for your flight back home.
