Detailed itinerary of 8 Days Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar Beach
Day 1: Arrival
On arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari and be transferred to your hotel for overnight.
Overnight at The Serena Hotel
Day 2: Transfer to Nyerere National Park
After your breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Nyerere National Park. On arrival you will be received by our representative and transferred to your lodge where you will spend the next three nights while exploring the beautiful Nyerere National Park.
At 30,893 square kilometers, Nyerere National Park is the largest national park in Africa and one of the largest in the world. The park is located in South Eastern Tanzania. Situated roughly 230 kilometers by road from Dar es Salaam City to Mtemere Gate, Nyerere is a remote Tanzania Safari destination. The park boasts of the largest concentration of wild animals and a rich collection of wildlife is abundant and diverse, there is good numbers of Big Cats such as lion, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, elands, wildebeests, zebras, and other wildlife.
In the afternoon after lunch, you will go for your first game drive giving you the best introduction to the park.

Day 3&4: Game Drives
Spend these two days exploring the vast and undisturbed land of Nyerere National Park which is home to massive number of animals and plants. You have opportunities of exploring some regions of the park on foot, hiking through the beautiful landscape and wildlife. Depending on the water level, you have an opportunity to explore the Rufiji River by boat or any other lake, concluding the experience with sundowners as you enjoy the end of a wonderful day in the wilderness.

Day 5: Fly to Zanzibar
After an incredible time in Nyerere National Park, bid farewell and be driven to the airstrip for your flight to Dar es Salaam then connect to Zanzibar for a relaxing beach experience.
Zanzibar is an enchanting island featuring romantic azure shores, white sand beaches, coral reefs, diving site, and mangrove forests teeming with monkeys. The island’s Stone Town is a melting pot of cultures showcasing influences from Arabia, Persia, India and Europe.

Day 6&7: Explore the Beaches and Stone Town
Enjoy the crystal white beaches of Zanzibar, spend time in the beautiful Stone Town learning and immersing yourself in the Swahili Culture. Take on several water sports depending on your preferences or simply spend time at the resort reading a book, swimming or lazing.
Overnight at Zuri Zanzibar
Day 8: Departure
We hope you have had an incredible beach experience in Zanzibar, depending on your flight time, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home bringing your safari in Tanzania to an end.
