3 Days Queen Elizabeth Park Wildlife Safari : This short Uganda wildlife safari takes on a memorable to Queen Elizabeth National Park – the most popular park in Uganda, this beautiful park was named after the Queen of England – Queen Elizabeth II to commemorate her visit to Uganda and the park as well in 1952.
Queen Elizabeth National Park has the most diverse habitats making it a home to numerous bird species, animals, reptile, mammals and amphibians.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is famous for hosting the rare tree climbing lions found in the Ishasha sector and four of the Big Five – lions, leopards, cape buffaloes and elephants. The park comprises of crater lakes, forested gorges that are home to chimpanzees, savannah plains, swamps and the beautiful Kazinga Channel – home to an abundance of wildlife.

Detailed Itinerary of 3 Days Queen Elizabeth Park Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe / Kampala or upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park – the medley of wonders located in south western Uganda for a wildlife safari experience in Uganda.
This Uganda wildlife safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park will give you opportunities to see remarkable landscapes and scenery in Uganda’s countryside, you will pass agricultural fields of different people going on with their daily life or seated by the stalls of crafts or fresh fruits and vegetable markets. Most homes are by the roadside for easy access to transport but also because they have access to amenities like power and water.
Along the way, you will have a stopover at the Equator Monument experience life in both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres. Lunch in Mbarara – Igongo Cultural Museum – the home of Ankore Culture and continue to the park arriving in late afternoon. Have a short game drive, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Alternatively you can take a flight from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airstrip to Mweya Airstrip shortening your transit time, this will then afford you time in the afternoon to either do a boat safari or a community tour.

Day 2: Game drive and boat safari on Kazinga channel
Wake up early for breakfast and head to the park for a morning game drive, enjoy your Uganda wildlife safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park which offers a beautiful African safari experience. The park is known to have the highest biodiversity of any protected area in East Africa, the day will start very early with your tour guide for an early morning game drive exploring the park in the Kasenyi Plains searching for predators and grazers on a game drive. Some of the animals to lookout for include lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, elands and many bird species among others.
Return to the lodge for lunch or have a picnic lunch after which you will take a boat safari Kazinga Channel which connect Lake Edward and Lake George, this experience offers an excellent opportunity for photography moments of hippos, buffaloes, elephants and magnificent bird species by the water. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Travel back to Kampala/ Entebbe
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and embark on a journey back to Kampala filled with memories, you will enjoy en-route lunch and be dropped off either at the airport for your flight back home or at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.
