Detailed itinerary of 5 Days Murchison Falls National Park Safari
Day 1 – Arrival at Entebbe Airport – Uganda
On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our company representative then be taken to your hotel in Kampala for an evening of rest. Depending on your arrival time, you will a tour around the city.

Day 2 – Transfer From Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
After an early breakfast, you will embark on a 4-6 hours journey to Murchison Falls National Park including some interesting stops at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking, the sanctuary is natural habitat for rhinos in Uganda. The tracking takes about 2-3 hours rewarding you with a close encounter with these endangered species.
Continue to Masindi for lunch and continue to the park, head straight to the Top of Murchison Falls for spectacular views where the Nile forces itself through a narrow gorge forming the falls with a thunderous roar. Here you will take memorable photos. Thereafter, proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Murchison Falls National Park
After an early breakfast, head to the park for an early morning game drive search for four of the Big Five, lions, leopards, buffaloes and elephants and other animals including oribis, impalas and primates like baboons, black and white colobus monkeys among others.
Return for the lodge for lunch and short rest, in the afternoon, go for a boat cruise to the bottom of the Murchison Falls, here you may be lucky to find some of the animals that come to drink water and cool off, hippo schools, crocodiles, birds and lizards and other marines may be sighted.
There is an option of boarding off at the bottom of the falls and hike to the top of the falls, this can be challenging but much rewarding walk as it brings you face to face with the world’s most powerful waterfall. Your driver will be waiting for you at the top of the falls to transport you back to the lodge in case you opt for this walk.

Day 4 – Transfer From Murchison Falls National Park to Kampala
After an early breakfast, check out and then head to Budongo Forest for chimpanzee trekking. On this experience, you will trek through the forest looking for chimpanzees – our closest relatives of the jungle. Continue to lunch en-route as you head back to Kampala. Overnight at your already booked hotel.

Day 5 – Departure
After a leisurely breakfast, your driver will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport in time for your flight back home bringing your Uganda safari to an end. If time allows, you will have time to shop for souvenir and visit historical sites such as the National Museum.
