Mara Choroa Camp is a 3 star mid-range accommodation found in the prime location of Talek areas, overlooking the River and mara plains in kenya’s Masaai mara national park. The camp is close to the Hippo Viewpoint. You can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center to Masaai mara national park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close ol kiombo airstrip then 15 minutes ‘drive to the camp and 30 Minutes’ drive from Keekerok airstrip The camp is convenient and business friendly to tourists, travellers who want to explore the park with its beautiful view of Talek River, wildlife drinking water at the river and surrounding areas.
Mara Choroa camp consists of 5 spacious and comfortable tents raised on a deck overlooking Talek River reflecting traditional building styles with modern comfort. Each tent is well elevated, decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, safari style hot and cold showers, dressing tables, mosquito nets, Televisions, Air conditioning, Deck chairs, work Decks, Wooden Tables, Free bottled water in the tents and many others. Each tent has a sitting areas, Private verandas and vanity deck that give a better view over Talek River, wildlife roaming around river and surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with comfortable clean beddings containing queen sized beds. There are fireplaces at the camp where guests relax and share stories about safaris; it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. The camp offers tents suitable for family as well as individuals with single bed, double beds, twin, and triple beds.

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October.
The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek River.
